"Ugh! This is so boring!!!" You yelled as you stood at your assigned post. You had been there all day and so far nothing interesting has happened. "No one has even come to visit me! How rude!" You complained like a small child. You let out a small sigh before sitting back down.

"Seriously when I became a marine I thought I'd have more fun. Guess I was wrong I should've became a pirate." You grumbled to yourself. "Is that so?" An annoyed voice asked. You flinched slowly looking back only to see your commanding officers standing there arms crossed a ticked mark on his head.

"So you wanna be a pirate huh cadet?" He asked eye twitching. This wasn't the first time you've said that but he still got annoyed when you did. "GAAAAH!" You cried trying to run away from him. "No you don't!" He yelled roughly grabbing you by the back of your neck.

You let out a small cry stumbling back. He looked down at you and sighed shaking his head. "What am I going to do with you?" He grumbled. You just smiled a nervous smile up at him. He grunts before smirking. "Alright as punishment you are to run ten laps around the island!" He announced.

The color slowly drained from your face as you felt your heart stop. "What?!" You yelled. He just smirked before walking off. "You heard me! No excuses!" He yelled. You wanted to protest but you knew it would be futile. With a small sigh you shook your head going to do the ten laps.

'I can't believe him!' You mentally cried as you walked down the hall towards outside. As you're walking you end up bumping into someone. "Ah sorry!" You said looking up at the person only to freeze. "A-admiral Aokiji?!?!" You yelled shocked. He hummed looking down at you.

"Oh hey." He mumbled. You just stood there unable to say a single word. 'CRAAAAAAAAAP!!!!!!!' You mentally cried. He was the last person you wanted to bump into. You see the two of you were childhood friends but as time went on you became intimidated by him because of his rank and power.

"S-sorry for bumping into you!" You cried bowing. "Uh...it's fine." He mumbled. You just let out a small sigh before quickly running off. "Well...see ya!" You cried before he could say anything you were gone. "Strange..." He mumbled before walking off to take a nap.

~time skip~

You finally finished your ten laps causing you to collapse on the beach. "Ah...it's so hot out..." You mumbled panting slightly. You stared up at the sky watching all the different colors mix. "My legs are sore..." You whispered closing your eyes.

"I told Aokiji I'd see him again...I'd rather not see him at all..." You grumbled annoyed with yourself. You see you weren't only intimidated by him...you were in love.

Hey! Aokiji what do you think of me?

Huh? Umm...well...you're cute.

You blushed at the tiny memory. "GAH! CURSE YOU AOKIJI!" You yelled quickly sitting up putting your arms in the air ticked marks popping up everywhere. "Hey now what am I being cursed for?" A familiar voice spoke causing you to flinch in embarrassment.

'SON OF A!!!' You slowly turned your head back at him. He stood there arms crossed. "How long have you been there?" You asked. He tilted his head slightly closing his eyes in thought. "Um...since lap three?" He asked. You just growled slightly.

"Don't just stand there watching me! Say something next time!" You yelled chucking your shoe at him. He allowed it to hit him unfazed. "You shouldn't hit an admiral." He mumbled sighing. "Shut up!" Was all you said as you went to stand up only to fall back down.

"Exhausted?" He asked looking at you. You just blushed looking away from him. "No!" You yelled. He just hummed before walking over to you. "You're all sweaty." He mumbled. "Duh! I just ran around this island ten times!" You yelled annoyed. He hummed before pressing his hand to your forehead.

This caused you to blush slightly. "H-hey! What are you-!" Before you could finish you felt your body start to get cooler. Neither of you said a word just looked at each other. After a few minutes he pulled his hand away from you. "Better?" He asked. You just glance away from him shyly.

"Y-yeah...thanks." You mumbled. He nods his head before turning his back to you. "Get on." He said glancing back at you. "Uh...sure." You mumbled slowly getting onto his back. He made sure you were secure before slowly standing up. He silently carried you back to base.

You blushed at this hiding your face in the crook of his neck. 'He still smells the same from when we were kids.' You thought smiling slightly. "...Hey Aokiji?" You asked quietly. He hummed glancing back at you. You looked at him and smiled a small smile.

"What do you think of me?" You asked softly. He didn't say anything before looking back ahead. "Uh...well..." He started as if thinking of what to say.

"You're cute."
