He didn't know where to take her. He couldn't take her back to the mansion because that would make them finding out about him intervening a bad situation. He just hopes that they haven't already found out. He couldn't take her to the hospital because of the questions and no answers.
A thought crossed his mind and he gently tugged her forward. Her fear filled eyes looked up into his bright blue ones.
"Wh-ere are we g-oing?"
He lightly smiled down at her to try and ease her fear. Her left arm was still draped over her stomach to try and stop the bleeding, but it helped very little.
"A friend's."
She looked at him questionably but didn't utter another word.
He wished she would. He wished she didn't have this fear. Soon enough it will be taken away.
He finally reached the house and walked up the stairs. This friend was just like him and they met at the mansion, but he had intervened before Niall and left to live with his girl. Niall knocked on the door and a woman answered the door.
She smiled kindly at Niall. "Niall."
She stepped aside for them to enter. Her eyes drifted to Dawn and widened. Dawn never met the woman's eyes as she followed Niall through the door.
"Harry!"
She finally looked up at the woman who's green eyes stared straight back at her. Brown, wavy hair fell shoulder length and she was a few inches taller than Dawn.
She heard thumping footsteps coming down and watched the staircase carefully. Her eyes widened and she seemed to step closer and curl into Niall's muscular back.
The man that had stepped into the room was tall and muscular. He had tattoos everywhere and his green eyes pierced straight into hers.
Her breath hitched in her throat and she curled Niall's shirt around her fists and sunk deeper into his back. She didn't know why Niall made her feel so safe or even why she curled into his back.
She didn't understand why the action caused butterflies to roam around in her stomach or the tingling sensation running through her fingertips.
"It's okay." He gently whispered, focusing his attention on her.
She didn't budge.
"Is this her?"
Niall nodded at the strange man.
"You intervened before they told you to, didn't you?"
Niall huffed under his breath. "It was necessary."
The man shook his head and pinched his fingers around the bridge of his nose. "You are going to get in a lot of trouble for it you know."
"I understand the consequences."
The man stood tall and looked at the woman who was watching Dawn with worry.
"Why are you two here?"
Niall turned around and stared straight into her eyes. "It's okay. We are going to help you."
She slowly nodding and uncurled her fists from his shirt. She stepped beside him with cautiousness and kept her gaze on the floor. She removed the arm from her stomach to show that even more blood had leaked through.
The woman gasped in shock along with the man. Dawn shifted her weight showing she was uncomfortable until Niall's hand found hers and intertwined their fingers.
She couldn't find the strength to pull them away because she knew that she could trust him.
