Little White Lies

Chapter 22

*Liv POV*

"Liv....? Did you hear me?" Niall suddenly asks bringing back from my future thoughts.

"Uhh what?"

"Do you want a coffee?" He asks and I realize we are at Dutch bros, and we have been driving for thirty minutes and I've been out of it the whole time.

"Oh uh no thanks."

"Okay are you sure?"

"Yeah thanks."

"Are you sure because that's what you said last time." Niall states trying not to sound rude or annoyed in front of his parents. Yes I have changed my mind in the past and had some of his, but I don't always do that.

"I'm sure I said I'm okay." I say and put in my ear phones when I notice both Nialls parents are asleep. I instantly regret not getting a coffee. As we drive away I look back at the building craving my coffee.

"Here." Niall says smiling and handing me a coffee.

"I said I don't want one."

"Take the coffee Liv."  As we stop at a red light, he says this and I turn away. "Take it!"He more forcefully says and puts it in my lap. When I don't turn he laughs and turns back to the road. I take the coffee and drink it after a while.

*Nialls POV*

About five minutes after I gave Liv the coffee the stubborn girl drinks it. I knew she was going to want one, but I honestly didn't want to get he one so I thought I would just let her learn the hard way. That was until I got over it and gave her mine. She can be so stubborn when she wants to be. We have an hour till we get to my parents hotel, and then we are all going out to dinner. My parents asleep in the back with Liv, and Zayn in the front texting I want Liv up here so I pull over and make Zayn change spots. Liv climbs in and she tries not to smile, but fails miserably.

"Thanks for the coffee." She says trying to sound annoyed.

"You're welcome." I say smiling.

"Shut up okay!?" She says shoving me.

"Yeah okay." I say and Liv leans towards the window visibly looking tired, so I let her sleep and focus on driving.

  Forty minutes later we arrive at the hotel and I drop my parents off and tell them I'll be back after we all change into something a little nicer. I drop off Liv, and head to my place.

*Livs POV*

  I walk up to my dorm and look through my closet for my black dress. It's not too long but just appropriate for dinner with my boyfriends parents. I choose my peach heels and decide to curl my hair.

"Heyo girly!" Madi says as she walks into the dorm dressed in sweats and a sweatshirt.

"You look comfy!"

"I am. I've been just laying all day. I'm so bored."

"You wanna come to dinner with us?"

"Are you sure. I don't want to be a bother."

"It's settled you're coming put something nice on and let's go. I'll tell Niall we are driving by ourselves.

To: Niall

        Hey madi and I are driving in our own car, so we'll meet you there.

From Niall

        Okay I'll see you guys there. I'm leaving now to get my parents.

Me and madi leave right after I curl my hair, and he head to the restaurant. We arrive and frankly dinner is.boring. I mean like Niall caught his parents up on his life, and I was asked a few questions about me, and everything. Then we left, and now I'm heading to my dorm. Usually I'm not so easily bored, but oh my gosh when your boyfriend is not really Saying much about anything you get bored. Niall was.very.weird and wasn't really opening up much to his parents like he usually does.

From Niall

        Hey so my parents said that they say goodbye they decided to leave early.

To Niall

   What? Why?

From Niall

      I was mad at my dad because he said I was rude to you and told me basically I'm doing everything wrong, not just the relationship but like in like college and basically life. He had kind of said that in the car ride over to the restraint. So this time I was a little more annoyed and  told him he didn't know what he was talking about, and that he doesn't know anything about my life anymore. We never have really gotten into a fight. Liv he was so upset and mad. I told him just to leave. I've never said that or even really really felt it. I don't know it's all a little dramatic but I was really upset, and I needed to get it out. But now I wish I could bring it back in!"

To Niall

  I'm sorry! Now neither of us are in good places with our parents. Should I come over?

From Niall

   No it's alright I'm fine I'll talk to you in the morning.

In the morning I head over to Niall. When I walk in Niall is passed out on the couch a liquor bottle next to him.

"Niall?" I ask shaking home. This wasn't a good sign. This is probably why he didn't want me to.come over he was probably drunk. Niall stirs but doesn't get up. Knowing he is alive now I wonder the house to see if anything else happened. I walk up the stairs and see Zayn sleeping on the bed of the geust room. I decide to wake him and see if he knows what happened.

"Zayn get up it's Liv." I say and poke the solid body.

"Get out it's too early." He tries, but I'm persistent and finally he gets his lazy ass up.

"Do you have any idea what happened last night the house is a mess."

"He texted me about his parents and I was afraid he would get Drunk and do something reckless so I came over. He was already drunk so I got him to bed barely. I had to drag his drunk ass through the house, as he grabs everything in sight. When I went to sleep he was asleep too."

"Oh goodness."

"Yeah so I'll leave you two and I'm going to head home." I say goodbye and go back to Niall who is awake rubbing his head.

"What the heck happened?!?" He loudly asked obviously unaware of everything.
