Keith had walked into the cockpit of the castle-ship, in search for the black paladin. There he spotted the older man at his chair, typing away at the blue floating screen that was in front of him. "Shiro, can I talk to you for a moment?" Keith called out, startling the paladin.

Shiro turned his head and met gazes with the younger. "Sure." He responded with a small smile.

Once Keith was standing in front of him, he shifted lightly, seeming nervous about something. "I'm going to tell you something, but you can't say anything to anyone." Keith warned, making Shiro's brows raise.

"Okay, I won't tell anyone anything." Shiro spoke reassuringly.

Keith sighed and looked down at the ground. "It's about (F/N)..." Keith mumbled, his cheeks flaring up at his next thought. "And I want to move our relationship to the next level..." Shiro looked at Keith, uncertain as to where he was going with this.

"What do you want to do with her?" Shiro asked, crossing his arms over his chest.

"I want to... propose to her..." Keith mumbled, his cheeks going as red as the red lion. "But I don't know how to..."

Shiro smiled as his heart filled with joy, he stood up and wrapped his arms around the younger man. "I'm proud of you Keith." He spoke, making Keith tense under his arms.

"What for?" Keith questioned, confusion laced in his voiced.

Shiro released Keith from his embraced and looked down at him. "For growing up into a fine young man."

"You make it sound like you're my dad." Keith spoke, looking up at him with an awkward smile.

Shiro chuckled. "Do you need help with anything?" He questioned.

"Well I'm not that romantic of a person..." Keith admitted. "So I was wondering if you can help me with planning the proposal."

"Sure thing, buddy." Shiro spoke, turning back to his screen and typing something in. "Why don't we find a good planet to do it on?" Shiro questioned.

"Sure, you are the master at this since you are with Allura." Keith spoke, making Shiro's cheeks heat up slightly.

"I've only been with her for a couple of years." Shiro spoke, clearing his throat.

"But you've done so much with her, I could list off so much." Keith spoke teasingly.

"Let's just focus on (F/N) for now." Shiro spoke. "Do you know what she likes?"

Keith thought for a moment. "I know she likes nature... animals... (F/F)... things like that..." Keith mumbled.

"Wow, you're really bad at this." Shiro spoke. "And you've been dating for how long?" Shiro teased.

"Hey!" Keith barked. "I told you I'm not good at this!"

"Sorry, sorry." Shiro chuckled, soon going serious again. "When do you want to propose to her?"

"Well I have to go back to the Blade soon for another mission. So I was thinking after that?" Keith spoke, making Shiro nod his head.

"Alright then, you have to go back today right?" Shiro questioned, making Keith nod his head. "Well why don't you go spend some time with (F/N)."

"But what about this?"

"I have a planet in mind." Shiro spoke, reassuringly. "Plus spending time with (F/N) is important before you go. She worries about you a lot when you're gone."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, now go." Shiro commanded.

"Alright. Thank you Shiro, I'll see you later." Keith spoke, before walking out of the room.
