Season 6 broke me... idk what to think about it but I have so much to say at the same time.  So this is also a warning that I'll be putting things from season 6 into later chapters when they are necessary, so please read with caution because I will not be posting a spoiler warning.

It was quiet, no nothing could be heard for miles. Your eyes were closed as you rested your head against Shiro's shoulder, sleeping wanting to consume your body. Currently the two of you were sitting in the lounging room, watching over two sleeping girls that sat across from you and Shiro. Mia and Eveline now being 6 years old. Shiro wrapped his arms around your shoulder to hold of you close, enveloping you in his warmth. You sighed happily into the touch and snuggled closer, loving the warmth the flowed through your body, making you sleepier than before.

Shiro placed a delicate kiss to the top of your head, his hand running up and down your arm soothingly. You smiled softly, shivers running through your body at the calming touches.

You would have to admit, being a parent was tough, along with being in a space war you never had time to relax. So when the girls would be having their small nap during the day and you weren't busy with anything, this was the only time that both Shiro and yourself could relax like this. And you couldn't be happier.

Your ears perked up at the sound of the lounging room door opening, you peaked open an eye to see who was entering, and there stood Hunk and Lance, smiling down at the four of you.

"Sorry, I hope we didn't wake you up." Hunk apologized.

You smiled and sat up, removing yourself from Shiro to look at the two boys properly. "No, it's okay." You replied, rubbing sleep away from your eyes. "I should get the girls up soon anyway."

Both Hunk and Lance made their way towards the couch to take a seat.

"Why don't we watched after them for awhile?" Lance suggested, looking over at the two girls.

"What do you mean?" Shiro questioned.

"Well, the two of you never get a break," Lance responded. "Your either training, fighting, cleaning, or looking after Mia and Evie."

"Yeah, it would be nice to give yourselves a break." Hunk added, smiling at the two of you. "And plus, I love being with the girls!"

"I don't want to trouble you with that," You spoke.

"You won't be troubling us." Lance said, crossing his arms. "The two of you never have alone time to yourselves, so it would be nice to get a nap in your bed. Not the couch."

Shiro laughed slightly, scratching the back of his head with his robotic hand. "You do have a point."

"You guys really wouldn't mind watching over them for awhile?" You questioned.

Both Hunk and Lance shook their heads. "Don't worry, we'll take good care of them." Hunk spoke reassuringly.

"Now go and get some rest!" Lance spoke, shooing the two of you out of the room.
