Altean!Lance x Reader

Quick little authors note in the beginning, 1. I sort of changed it so that you will pilot the blue lion, but then obviously Lance is it's original paladin. 2. There is a small little question thingy I got tagged in to do, so I put it at the bottom of the story.

Also I apologize for this being late, I've been busy lately with being in a car show, I got sick and been sleeping through it, and I just really couldn't think about what to write for this, but all I know is that I wanted to write this.

Tbh this could have been better, but when you're sick you just can't think properly... so I'm sorry if this is all over the place...

"Holy fuck... Is that a giant blue lion...?" You questioned, running out of a pond that you had fallen into, along with Keith, Shiro, Pidge, and Hunk.

"(F/N) language." Shiro spoke sternly, walking next to you.

"How can I not swear!" You exclaimed. "Look what is in front of us!" You pointed towards the giant mechanical lion.

"Okay, this is an exception." Shiro spoke, crossing his arms.

"It looks like it has a shield up." Pidge mumbled, walking closer to the shield. "How do we get in?"

"Why don't we try knocking?" You suggested, walking closer to the lion and raising your hand, giving the shield a light knock. "Anyone home!" You called.

You all yelped as the shield deactivated, the lion roaring as it lowered it's head, opening it's mouth. "Woah..." You mumbled, a smirk crossing your (S/T) features as you quickly ran into the lion.

"(F/N) wait!" You heard Keith shout, following you into the lion.

You walked into, what you assumed to be, the cockpit of the giant blue lion, your eyes wide in awe as you looked around.

"This is so cool..." You mumbled to yourself, sitting in the pilot seat.

You could hear footsteps running into the cockpit, but you didn't bother looking back as you were to enchanted by the lion. You placed your hands on the handlebars that were in front of you, the lion roared and lifted it's head, a screen turning on in front of you giving you the view from it's eyes.

"What is this thing?" Pidge questioned, looking curiously at all the controls.

"I don't know but it's pretty cool!" You exclaimed with a smile.

Your smile faded as you felt your mind go fuzzy, you could hear a roar echo as it was almost like ideas were being filled into your mind, no words were being spoken but you understood it all.

"Did any of you hear that?" You questioned, looking back at everyone.

"Hear what?" Keith questioned, his brows raised.

"It was like the lion was talking to me, but not with words... more like ideas..." You mumbled.

"That makes no sense." He spoke, annoyance laced in his voice.

"Well it does to me because it happened to me." You stated, crossing your arms.

You quickly uncrossed your arms and took a hold of the controls as the lion jerked. "What's happening?" You questioned, your eyes grew wide as a screen turned on in front of you, giving you the view through the lions eyes.

"Did you turn it on?" Pidge questioned, looking at you.

"I don't think so..." You mumbled.

You yelped as the lion took off, crashing through the wall of the cave. Everyone grabbed on tight to something as the lion began to fly in random directions, they mainly grabbed onto you. "Could you guys not grab onto me." You spoke sternly.
