Two months later

I watched as Lucas and my mom practiced simple things.My dad was too shook from when him and the other coach argued.
My mom passed him the ball as Lucas made a lay up but fell once back on the floor.He hissed as I cringed in pain.
He started limping as he got back up and limped to the bleachers.He still had a black eye but it was even worse then before.It had a weird effect on his natural color.
He just sat back and looked out.I scooted towards him and held his hand.
"You're okay"I reassured and he just held my hand back
"I'm playin'"He insisted
"Yes you are! And you did great,right mom?"I glanced at her
"Yes! You did wonderful! Just instead of trying to be perfect and worry about the pain,just do it"She said
I helped him stand and he began to run his eye.I grabbed his hand and pecked his eye.
"Go ahead"I smiled as he limped to her
Mom passed him the ball as he dribbled and made a lay up and I cringed as he lands correctly.I sighed and smiled
"Good,now let's get the motion correct"Mom replied

We had decided to go out to Timothy's with my mom,brother and me and Lucas.
I sat next to Lucas as Danny and Mom sat across from us.I kept on feeling Lucas loosen his grip on my hand and tighten it back up.
"Are you okay?"I asked
"No"He mumbled
"Lucas-"
"I know,I should start thinkin positive but I can't"He said
I rubbed his hand,"I still care and I love you"I smiled
His lip wasn't bad but it still looked different from when it was.I pecked them and then a waiter came over.
"Hello there,are you ready to order?"He asked
"Yes! I'd like the large half and half cheese and sausage and pepperoni and hot wings"Mom replied
"Specific sauces?"He asked
"Ranch,and garlic cheese"I said
"Drinks?"He asked
"All Sprite's please and-"Mom gave me and Lucas a glare
"He'll have a smoothie"I answered
"Okay,be right back"He ran off as Lucas leaned on my shoulder
"Where my phone?"He asked
I handed it to him as he went to his IG.I watched him scroll then went to Snapchat.He took a picture of me and him as I kissed his cheek with the doggy filter as he smirked.
I liked that cute picture.He sent it to me and posted it as well.I held his hand as the food came along.
I watched as I stared at the window.I furrowed my brows and thought then began to eat.
Few minutes later,Lucas kept on touching my waist and thigh."What?"I asked
"Lemme out"He replied
I scooted out as he stood and limped to the bathroom.I sat back down and waited for him to come back.
I finished eating and packed some up and stood with my family.They started the car up as I waited for Lucas to come out of the bathroom.
He then limped out as I grabbed his hand and we walked out to mom's car.I got in and just laid against Lucas then he sat me up as we walked into my house.
I locked the door and saw Lucas sit on my bed.I smiled and sat next to him and turned on some tv.
Lucas laid in my lap as I combed through his curls with my fingers.He rubbed my thigh as I watched his bad eye.It didn't really move,nor did anything happen.
"Nique!"Mom yelled
I sighed,"Yes!"I called back she knocked on my door
I slid over and opened it as she walked inside.
"Mia is here,and Nigel is here to take Lucas home"Mom replied
I pecked Lucas's lips as Nigel came and helped him down the steps and into his car.I watched them pull off as I smiled and had Mia and me talk in my room.
"When does his cast come off?"Mia asked
"Sometime next week"I shrugged
"Can he see?"She questioned
"Yeah,it's still badly bruised but it's clearing up now that we put ice and stuff on it"I replied and just checked my phone
Usually,Lucas texts me when he is home safely.I shook it off and focused on my company.

I just texted Nique,and told her I was home and I just went straight to sleep.I closed my eyes as Tia crawled into my room.
"Un-umm"She babbled as I laughed and picked her up and held her
I pecked her curly head and just sat there.I wondered how I would look as a father.Marry Nique,and have our own kids.I hope I just am stable enough.
My phone rung indicating someone was FaceTiming me.Nique called me as I answered it.
"Hey bae!"She smiled
"Yero"I said
"When is your game?"
"Ion know nor care"I answered
"Just cause of an accident doesn't mean you have to think negative all the damn time"She stated
"Nique,there's nothin' positive about this whole thing..can't chu see dat?"I asked
She just rolled her eyes,"At least stay positive until it heals"She said
"For you"I smiled
"No do it for you"She smiled
"Bae"I smiled
"Yes"She said
"Do you love me?"I asked
"Of course..and it's gonna stay like that"She smirked
"Oh rd cause I was gon' sneaky cho ass"I said
"Booyy...you'on be able to beat all dis ass"She stuck out her tongue
"I did last night"I stated as she gasped
I started laughing as she whined,"Lucas shut up"She spat
"Aww bae,I'm sorry"I calmed down
"No lemme alone-"She hung up on me
I laughed then called her back but she didn't answer,"Aight ma"I nodded and limped down to my sister's room

I unlocked my phone and then took out my makeup and cleaned my face completely.I decided to try something.
I did the usual except I added more blush, eye liner and I tried this thing where you bring out certain shit or whatever.
I finished and took a picture and then took a picture(not really her just the makeup)I posted it on my Instagram.
