I am feeling good for once but I think those pills helped me out.I still cough and need to eat more but I'm not worried bout it.
My phone rung and I picked it up glancing the unknown number.I answered an put it on speaker and stood up.
"Hello?"I answered
"Hey,uh is this Nique?"A female voice said
"Yes,this is her"I said
"Oh my name's Kennedy I'm a friend of Queen's I heard you were starting in the music business"She said
"Yeah I am"I nodded
"Oh well just to make this not seem so awkward is it okay if you'd meet me at the park in a hour?"Kennedy asked
"Mhm,sure"I said
"Okay,bye"She hung up
I sighed and flicked my curls behind my shoulders.I changed into my gray fitted dress and slid on my silver Rolex and jean jacket.I made sure I was lotioned and sprayed on some lingering perfume.
I put on some light makeup and my silver hoops.I slid on my sandals and grabbed my cross body walking downstairs.I shut and locked the door behind me and hopped in the Cooper.
I pulled off and towards the park.I parked in a close by space and got out locking my doors and I walked up front a little and looked around and then sat on a close by bench.
"Nique?"I heard
I looked over at the beautiful girl standing by me with a smile on her face,"Hi! I'm Kennedy"She held out her hand
I shook her hand nodding,"Hi,nice to meet chu"I smiled and she sat next to me
"So about the phone call I have-well had a boyfriend who recently made a song maybe you've heard it but it's called 'Arguments' by-"She explained
"DDG?"I interrupted
"Yeah"
"Oh! He's your boyfriend,oh okay"I nodded
"Was my boyfriend but we are kinda on good terms I guess"She shrugged
"But he heard you already hitting number one in the music world so he wanted to do a song witchu but since he's at the studio now I thought I could come be your friend"Kennedy explained
"Okay,I'm cool with that uh-"I looked over at the kids playing on the park slides and swings
"How bout I take you for some ice cream?"I asked looking back at her
"Sure"She nodded
"Okay-"We stood up
We got in our cars and I led her towards an ice cream shop.I kept looking in my rear view mirror for her Benz and I let out a sigh of relief.
I found a parking and she parked next to me.I got out shutting my car door and locked them.She got out flicking her hair and she shut her door.
"Thought I lost you"I chuckled
"You did at one point"She laughed
We walked inside and found a quiet table and she got vanilla almond ice cream and I got a mint chocolate chip.
"So I hear you're pregnant"Kennedy said licking her third scoop
"Yeah,I month"I nodded and she smiled
"Aww,you had a baby shower already?"She asked
"Yeah but I was flat as all hell but that was like a congrats party in my words but I will have another one"I explained
