Nique
I changed in the school bathroom since I had enough time to.I quickly put on my white fitted skin tight dress and my gray heels to match my cap and gown.
"Nique lets go!"Janiya yelled and I ran out to her waiting in the lobby
"Damn,I ain't know you was gonna look my like that?"She asked laughing
"I ain't finish my hair or makeup"I said rolling my eyes
"It's okay we gonna go early so we can get your hair done"She said
We walked out and down to her car waiting.She sped off towards a hotel place near the graduation ceremony.I walked into the bathroom and put on my makeup and curled my hair with some jewelry.
Janiya straightened her bob and did her makeup.I walked out and walked over to the ceremony.Kids from our school was walking and having fun.
I saw Lucas pull up looking fresher than ever and when I had seen Colton pull up.He pulled up in a damn Lambo and had on a nice all white tux on with a gray bow tie matching the cap and gown.
"Hey Colton!"Janiya yelled and he looked our way
I hit Janiya's arm telling her,"Why would you do that?"I asked
I looked back over and he already was walking but with some girl.I shrugged it off but once I walked in the ceremony I sat in my assigned seat and it was next to some girl.
I waited and my phone flashed and I looked at a snap from Colton.I looked around me and quickly replied to the snap.I took a picture of the stage and sent it to him.
He asked me to come out so I got up and walked out feeling people look over at me.I opened the doors and sat in the main part of the place.
"Aye! Nique"He said walking over
I smiled and stood straight."Hey Colton,how are you?"I asked him
"Good,but it's only been two weeks"I said
"Oh,well I know but we haven't been talking to each other"I said looking down at my heels
"I know but-"
"Colton?"A young white girl said
He turned around and I furrowed my brows.He looked back at me,"I'll see you later"He shrugged
She grabbed his hand and walked out of my sight.I stood for a few more seconds and walked in and sat down posting on my Snapchat some shit.

I smiled knowing she reading the shit now too.The ceremony began and we all clapped our hands as the band played some song.

I sat at dinner with my family and Janiya.We were celebrating our graduation and now we're 17 and out of school! Janiya is turning 18 along with me so I know for a fact what I'm gonna do.
My mom had drove us to this amazing and quiet Chinese food place.I was already tearing up my food and drink.Janiya was texting Dwayne once in a while if no one asks her a question.
"How does it feel to be out of school?"Mom asked us
"It's really awkward,because you're so used to getting up for school and dealing with the drama all day about the same stuff"I explained
"Girl please-I am hype! At last I finally don't gotta be in the same classes as fake people who I strongly dislike"Janiya said sipping her wine
"Wow,seems like someone is really ready to leave and be grown"Her mom chuckled
Janiya sucked her teeth,"Mama I am fine where I am even though living with Dwayne would be a start"She blushed
"Congrats!"I laughed clapping
"But Nique you're moving out right?"My dad said
I nodded,"Oh girl,really?! Lemme live witchu"Janiya gasped
"As long as you help me find a house and pay all the bills half and half"I ordered
She nodded her head and her mom laughed.After our big ass discussion I got a box for my food and we all went back to my house.Janiya wanted to sleep over to help me pack some shit.
Her parents went back home and my mom and dad quickly left to go grocery shopping for when Janiya sleeps over.I plopped on my bed and then Janiya got up and we took a mirror picture.

"So are you and Lucas getting back together?"She asked putting her phone on the charger
I shrugged my shoulders,"Ion see him like I use to,honestly"I replied
"Do you still love him though?"She asked standing up
I ignored her question because she knew the answer.I hate that damn Lucas Coly all he did was ducking cheat and try to fuck me later and think that sex bonds relationships when it takes a little more then sex and a million I'm sorries to bond this one.
Janiah knew I was in deep thought so she turned on '13 Reasons Why'.We watched the last episode and to be honest I was stressed.I already have my college applications ready but the fact that I am moving to Miami,Janiya might be alone here.
"Where you say you were going to college at?"I asked her
"Ion know I might go to Detroit for their lawyer colleges,apparently they have great executives over there"She replied flipping her weave behind her shoulder
Colton knows where I'm going.Lucas thinks he knows and I just told Janiya.I got up sighing.
"Well,I'm gonna take a shower first and then you can because it's getting late and I'm gonna go to sleep before 12 to finish packing up my shit"I responded and her head nodded
I grabbed my towel and some pajamas walking to the bathroom and quickly turning on some hot water.I stripped carefully folding up my dress and gown.
I washed my hair and body thinking about the changes I been through.I had a glow up and many boyfriends' who couldn't really show me better than Lucas besides Colton.
I got out turning off the shower and drying my body off.I put on some lotion and some under wear and bra.I wore some yellow track shorts and my knee high white socks and my white tank top.I combed out my curls and braided it into two braids.
Janiya knocked on the door and I let her in and quickly grabbed my shit walking to my room and getting the beds set.I had a pull out bed that none of my friends really know about.
Not even Lucas or Caniya knew.Mia probably figured it out but she never even asked me nor did Kennedy but that troll didn't step foot in this house yet.I pulled it out and threw a fluffy pillow and blanket on it and turned the tv off because we both not even watching it.
We too busy on our phones to even notice what happens.I sat in my bed and she came in piling her shit in her bag and laid on the lay out bed before wrapping her hair up and going to sleep.
I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
