My mom sat on the couch next to my dad and across from me and Mariana.I wanted to tell her how I'm already applied and had been informed that I made it into some college in California.
"We wanted to talk to y'all about moving out and becoming your own person"Dad said
"I'm not moving out"Mariana chuckled
She was only 23 but has the smartest mouth ever so she'll never get a house.Mom chuckled and Dad shook his head.
"I am"I stated and Dad looked shocked
"Oh really? Where?"He asked
"Since I'm going to college in California I'm gonna have to buy my own house"I said shrugging my shoulders
"Son,you're a Xiao we have a lot of money to spend and to play with but your college and dreams are really important to us,so we thought that before you move maybe we can get you a job"Mom explained
I nodded my head."I start on Monday"I smiled and she smiled brightly
"Congratulations! Where?"she asked
"I'm working at the Boys' And Girls' Club for now...as a administrator but I'm also doing the after school basketball camp and stuff"I explained
By the looks of their faces my sister was jealous my dad looked depressed that his only son moved on to doing something like his dad.Mom was so excited her leg tapped uncontrollably fast.
"Well whatever you need Colton because Mariana is not staying here for long"Mom scolded
"What!"She gasped
"You have a damn job he doesn't what do think we're supposed to do? You're on College break which ends tomorrow so pack up everything and put it in your car"Dad said loudly
I gave her a look and she rolled her eyes standing up"Young lady were not done talking to you!"Mom yelled
"Well I am! Damn"Mariana yelled back while on her way to her room
I lifted both brows in surprise.My mom gasped and followed her and I watched dad hold her back.
"Colton-"Dad strained "There's so money up in my closet and some food she cooked...for dinner last night"He banged mom into a wall so she couldn't move
"Move-"She kicked dads balls and ran up the stairs to Mariana's room.
I stood there shaking my head.Mom was those type of kids who if you said something bad she'll tear you up just for saying ass or damn.Even hell,well she probably let that slide.
I warmed me up so macaroni and cheese with the side of crab legs and blue cheese.I warned it up just as the bell ring.I ran over and opened the door to see Caniya.I furrowed my eyebrows and she smiled small.
