I woke up realizing today was the day! It's prom day.Nique was calling me non stop last night about it all and now I have to drive there to get dressed and shit.I packed the shit I needed and headed to her house at 4:34 in the morning.
I knocked on the door as Nique came down with a robe wrapped around her body with her hair out and curly.I stared at her and smirked as she stepped to the side letting me in.
"You shower?"She asked me
"No,I was finna do allat here"I explained
"Good! My dad is at the grocery store plus going to the airport at 6 so be ready to meet my family and my mom and is still finding me some nice make up and shit"She said rapidly as she quickly walked to the fridge
"Nique...are you okay?"I asked
She shook her head as I grabbed her hands "It's just stressful dealing with prom and the fact were graduating soon...its just all too much"
"Nique,calm down its gonna be aight,Oky?"I lifted her chin making her eyes stare up into mine as they started watering
She nodded staring at my lips "Yeah"I kissed her lips as she wrapped her arms around my neck as I leaned down grabbing her thighs and she hopped on my waist as I carried her to her room.
I placed her on her bed as she opened her robe revealing a set of lingerie.I furrowed my brows as she smirked and walked to her closet grabbing sweats and a tank from it.
She slipped on her Nike Slides and followed me to the kitchen again.She raised it trying to find some food to cook until she smirked and I nodded reading her mind.
"Let's got to iHop!"We both said
She tied her hair up and we walked to my car and drove there in twenty minutes since traffics was bad due to people's prom shit still going on.
She watches cars pass by as I gripped her thigh over the console making her blush and turn to me.She stared at me but my gaze was stuck on the packed roads.She looked back out the window and I parked in a spot closer to the door.
I got out as she grabbed my hand and led me inside and to the front counter.Apparently she reserves us seats and I immediately got confused as we say at our table close to the windows.
"Why didn't you tell me about reservations for breakfast?"I asked
The lady walked back to the front counter as Nique sighed.
"I just wanted to please you for once..You always buy me shit and make reservations for the both of us so I decided to make us stronger in our relationship,I should start doing the same"She explained
I calmed down more and just glimpsed at cars parking and people walking inside.I covered my face with my hands as I heard a sniffle so I tore them off my face and had seen Nique quickly wipe tears away.
"Please tell me you're not crying?"I asked frustrates
She shook her head quickly "No,I'm just emotional since I can't treat my man to some'n nice for once and he doesn't accept it"She said as I mugged her as a man came over with a note pad
"Welcome to IHop I am gonna be your waiter for this morning,my name's Jared"He smiled at us both
