Junipers shrill shrieks echoed through the halls.
Olivia kept her face pressed against the bars, trying to see anything, "Juniper!"
"Olivia calm down you can't get out of there. He isn't hurting her... probably." Alec's words did not help her, she continued to try and push the door open.
She continued this for half an hour, yelling for Juniper, hoping she was alright.
She didn't know why, but she felt a sort of bond with the girl.
They both had lost their parent. Both had been alone. Found each other.
Maybe it was fate. Maybe the only reason Olivia was still alive was to be with Juniper.
Or she was meant to find Juniper and give her a few days of happiness before she died.
That was a darker thought, she pushed that out of her head.
She heard a door open a bit away, and footsteps.
Venit walked past her cell, dragging a wet Juniper behind him.
"Hey wait!" Olivia hit the bars.
Venit paused and looked at her, "yes?"
"Can she come in here with me? Please I don't want her to be alone."
"No you haven't earned that yet. Plus. I don't know if I'm going to keep her." He continued walking.
Olivia stared at the small shivering girl, her clothes replaced by a bright white shirt, almost like a dress on her, "Juniper it's okay!"
Juniper didn't seem to hear her.
Alec stuck his mirror back out to look at Olivia, "who's that? Did you replace me?"
His small attempt at a joke did not help the situation.
Olivia shook her head, "no..that's...she's... I don't know I met her like a day or two ago."
"You seem to like her." He observed.
"Yeah..she's like a sister to me." She smiled at the word sister.
"Huh. Am I like a brother to you?" Alec grinned.
"No." She snorted, "more like a crazy neighbor."~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Olivia wished she could be out of that cage. Hugging and kissing Alec. Comforting Juniper.
Yet she was trapped.
She didn't remember falling asleep but she found herself woken up to Venit opening her cell door, "your turn come on."
She stood and tried to tackle him, taking the Bowie knife from her belt. He grabbed her wrist of the hand that held the knife and twisted it, "drop it. Now."
She was forced to drop it.
He smiled at her, "you're full of energy aren't you?"
She spat in his face.
He punched her eye, causing her to fall, and dragged her out by the ankle.
Alec tried to grab her hand as she passed, but she was out of reach. He hoisted her up in a standing position and took out her own knife, "strip down. Now."
"...no." she earned another punch.
Next thing she knew she was on the ground. Venit was cutting her clothes off with the knife, carelessly scraping and cutting her skin.
She screamed and tried to pull away but moving caused deeper cuts.
Soon he finished and stood.
He picked up a hose and started to spray her down with powerful blasts.
She stayed on the ground and curled up, trying to protect her face.
This lasted for a while, she sat, shivering and blasted with the freezing cold water.
As soon as he stopped her tossed her a large white shirt, "put it on."
She quickly covered herself.
He walked over and pulled her up, tilting her chin up so he can study her face, "you are a pretty one aren't you?"
"Please leave me alone." Her lips quivered.
He touched them with his thumb to still them, "give me a twirl around. Go on. NOW!"
His sudden yell made her squeak and slowly spin around, as she spun she noticed she was in some sort of lab. An old one fill of tools covered in blood. She then remembered the bodies and tumbled a bit, he was going to kill her.
He caught her and pushed her onto the bed in the middle of the room, "you look like you need some rest. Lay here."
"No please I'm fine." She could hardly make out the words.
On the table there were straps, he used them to hold her down, "don't worry dear I won't hurt you."
He pushed a wet strand of hair from her face and carefully kissed her forehead, "rest for now."
"I'm not tired." She whimpered.
"Are you afraid of me?" He grinned, placing his hand on her leg.
She twitched, "stop."
"Tell me you're afraid." His hand travels upwards, "go on."
"Alec help!"
His hand paused, on the top of her leg now, "you know him? Oh this is interesting. That makes this so much sweeter."
