She's a monster pt 2

Alec studied the bite wound on Junipers shoulder, "we should get you fixed up."
"Alec she's going to become one of them." Olivia warned.
He shook his head, "no proof on that. She just saved us, Olivia, show some gratitude."
"Alec they killed my parents!"
There was a long pause then he stood and led Juniper into the back room to look for medical supplies.
Olivia looked at Venit's dead body then followed.
Alec dug around in a few drawers, pulling out bandages and clean clothes, "Hey Olivia this building may have more supplies why don't we fix Juniper up then take a look around?"
Olivia eyed Juniper then nodded, "fine. Okay."

Soon Juniper was asleep, in a new white shirt and cleanly bandaged, and Alec led Olivia around the building.
They tried to find a kitchen but had no such luck after a good half hour.
They sat in the hall and paused, taking a break.
Alec looked at her and smiled, "well. We are alone."
"Oh shut up." She leaned forward and kissed him.
He ran his fingers gently through her mess of hair and pushed it out of her face.
She leaned in closer then pulled back, "do you smell that?"
"It wasn't me." He frowned.
Olivia smelt the air, cigarette smoke.
"You two look like you're having fun." A familiar voice called out from the darkness.
A match is lighted and Doctor Smith's face is illuminated in the light.
Olivia jumped up, "you?! Where did you go?! Where have you been!"
"You seemed to fair well without me. Juniper said you came this way. Just got here actually. Hiding from the storm. Hello I'm guessing you're Alec." She turned her attention towards Alec and smiled, a stiff smile, as if it was forced.
Alec nodded then looked at her other hand, "that's the gun."
"Oh this? Yeah I found it. A bit flashy for me but I'll keep it."
Olivia studied the gun, "Doctor Smith. How'd you find us?"
"Took a while I'm sorry about that. The rain didn't help. Really I walked in a random direction and hoped for the best." She smiled at Olivia, a genuine one.
"Did you...see what Juniper did?" Olivia forced her eyes away from the gun.
Doctor Smith's eyes hardened, "yes...we need to talk about that...Olivia I think Juniper was meant to be a trap for humans. Maybe she is one of them or is turning into one of them but either way, she's dangerous to have around. Haven't you noticed they've followed us. Found us easily?"
"... yeah but-"
"Olivia think. Is she really your friend or is she one of the beasts?"
