What Is Left

Thanks to Juniper

Venit did not come for Olivia next.
He came for a beast.
He used a long metal pole with a wire at the end to drag the monster out.
Olivia covered Junipers eyes so she wouldn't see the beast.
The beast, a female, struggled and growled.
She suddenly spotted Olivia and Junipers cell and made a break for it. The wire catches her before she can hit the cell at full force.
Her neck was bruised and bleeding, it was easy to tell she had done this before.
Venit smiled, "what is it girl? You hungry?"
Olivia hugged Juniper, glaring, don't you dare.
He looked away, thinking, then took the beast into the back room.
Olivia relaxed, thinking it was over.
Actually relaxing at the loud groans and whimpering from the back room. It wasn't her.
But after a few moments he came back and opened Olivia's cell door.
He had a gun, an actual gun, in hand, "Come here Juniper."
"No!" Olivia gripped her tighter.
He aimed the gun at the two "don't make me kill you snow bunny."
"I'll be okay." Juniper forced herself away from Olivia and stood, "don't hurt her."
"Aren't you a brave one?" Venit grinned and grabbed her hair, pulling her out of the cell and closing door.
Olivia pressed her face on the cell door, "juniper it's okay!"
Alec looked at her, "don't worry she'll be fine."
Olivia's heart raced, she sat back, starting to breathe too quickly.
Alec decided to try to distract her, "how did he know your nickname?"
Olivia took a deep breath and shook her head, "well it wasn't... completely original Alec. Every blond is basically called snow bunny."
"Oh. Here I thought I was a genius." He gave a small smile, which calmed Olivia down a bit.
Her heard began racing again when she heard Venit yelling and a gunshot.
"Juniper!" Both her and Alec yelled.

A dark hand reached out of the cracked doorway, covered in blood, and the door slowly opened.
The beast limped out, leg bleeding and mouth covered in blood.
She was smiling despite the pain, unless they couldn't feel pain.
Her whole front was covered in blood, as if she took a shower in it.
Olivia pushed back, oh Juniper.
The beast noticed her movement and lunged her way, reaching through the bars and trying to grab her, yelling for her in it's odd language of grunts and cries.
Olivia hugged her legs and started to cry, she didn't care at the moment that she could die, she was trapped, all sh cared about was that Juniper was gone.
Part if her in the stomach of the beast.
"Hey wait!" She could hear Alec yell.
Suddenly there was a gun shot and the beast head exploded.
Olivia screamed.
The beast body was pulled back and Juniper, holding Venit's gun, smiled at Olivia, "you're welcome."
