It was the first day of his new school. Cassidy was eager to find who and what awaits him at his new school. Cassidy's mom dropped him off at school and went on her way, but Cassidy started to get nervous. "What if people don't like me?" he thought. Suddenly there was a tap on Cassidy's shoulder.
"Hi there! I'm Mason, whats your name?". He said, Blushing.
(≥Cassidy's POV≤) "My name is Cassidy." I said.
"Nice name-er, I mean-" I said, stuttering. Why was I so nervous?
"Its okay... I'm nervous too" Said Mason. "I can show you around if you want!" He said, starting to get more eager.
"Yeah-Um, I'd love to!.." I said, still nervous.
We walked through the halls together, he was showing me all the classes, and of course, all the places to hide from bullies. I never really payed attention to what he was saying, He just sounded very-excited? I should say. He is.. different.
"Cassidy?" asked Mason, sounding concerned.
"Oh-Yes..Hi!" I said coming back to reality.
"You blanked out. I was just wondering if you were okay." He said.
I looked down to see him holding my hand, and when he saw that I looked down, he jerked his hand away from me and stepped back a bit.
"I-I'm sorry." He said embarrassed.
His face got red and he looked down. I didnt say anything because I didnt know what had just happened. Now I know its not a big deal, but with me nervous and all, it was all going downhill fast.
"I'll talk to you later." Said Mason, starting to drag his feet towards the bathroom.
