MOON GOD

chapter 2

MICHAEL POV

To be honest, I'm actually excited to go back down to Earth. These powers are overwhelming and I miss my sister.

I walk over to the portal light that the Moon Goddess is motioning for me to go through. I take a deep breath and walk through.

Delilah POV

I can feel myself begin to fall asleep.. my eyes are slowly closing...

BAM!

I jerk out of the chair and run right into Kingston who has flown into the room to see what happened.

He looks down at me with concern. "Are you okay, sweetheart?? What happ-"

He looks over at the window. "Michael?!"

I immediately turn in that direction. My jaw drops. "MICHAEL?!"

I push myself off the floor and run over to my brother, arms open.

He laughs as he brings me into a warm hug. "Hey, sis. Miss me?"

I can feel tears begin to fall down my face. "Did the Moon Goddess fix the problem? Is that why you're here?"

I grab onto his arm as another thought crosses my mind. "Please tell me you aren't here just to say goodbye.. please don't go again!!"

He smiles down at me. "Don't worry, I'm here for good. And to answer your question about the Moon Goddess fixing the.. predicament.. yes and no."

Kingston walks over to Michael confused. "What the heck does that mean?"

Michael gets down on his knees and begins to pick up the broken glass from the window. "She told me I had to find my mate and love her."

I look at Kingston and he laughs. "Well, now that has got to be the simplest thing I've heard."

Michael shakes his head. "Yeah, well that's what I thought but apparently when I see her and she sees me.. we'll both hate each other and apparently she is the only one that will feel the mate bond."

Kingston frowns. "Wow.. uh that sucks dude."

Michael stands up and chuckles. "Yeah tell me about."

I bring over the trashcan for the glass Michael has managed to scoop up.

I grin. "So, Michael does that mean... Your going girl hunting?"

Michael takes one look at me and backs up. "Oh, no sis, you are NOT going to hook me up with random girls."

I begin to throw out a couple of names. "Well there's Natalie, Miranda, Sarah.. ooh what about Hannah. You never liked her."

Michael turns and looks at Kingston.

He shakes his head. "Sorry, bro.. can't help you.

I begin to list restaurants and parties coming up. "Oh..oh.. how about Megan.. you hate her right?"

Michael groans and walks out of the room, putting his hands over his ears. "No, No, No. DELILAH!!"

I laugh as he runs up the stairs mumbling how he wishes he had a brother instead.

I look up the stairs and yell. "YOU KNOW YOU LOVE ME!!"

Michael slams a bedroom door. "YEAH, YEAH.. NOW GO AWAY DELILAH!!"

I begin to go up the stairs to irritate him some more but Kingston comes by and puts a hand on my shoulder.

"Come on Delilah, he just got here. You really want to run him off now?"

I pretend to think about it. Kingston laughs. "Let's go get some ice cream."
