chapter 3

Michael POV

It isn't ten minutes before someone is banging on my door. "What Delilah?!"

"There's Hunters on the territory that have been caught, Kingston told me to tell you."

I groan. I just got back and now I have to waste time with those evil beings.

I drag myself off of the bed. "Alright, I'll be down in a moment."

I  comb through my wild hair and head downstairs.

There beside Delilah and Kingston were a few guards and three hunters.

Kingston looks at them with disgust. "You really think you wouldn't get caught?! You're on we're wolf territory!"

I look at them... There's two men and one young woman who seems to be enjoying this too much.

She makes eye contact with me... And smiles. That devil just smiled at me?!

I growl and she causally turns her attention back to Kingston. "Wow, werewolves are quite gorgeous in person."

Delilah gives a murderous look. "Keep your eyes to yourself, you filthy creature!"

She rolls her eyes and leans up against the wall. "No worries, he ain't that attractive anyways."

The guards eyes widen. Kingston looks at me with a look of unbelief. I start to laugh.

"Sorry, Kingston it just looked like you have this look of unbelief at the fact that she's like the first girl to say you aren't attractive."

Delilah looks at me with a look of disapproval. "Sorry, I'll shut up now."

The woman begins to fiddle with the curtain. "So are you going to take us to the almighty Alpha or dungeon?"

I look over at her and raise my eyebrow. This girl has nerve... How has she stayed alive so long with a mouth like that. "He is the Alpha."

She looks at me and then back at Kingston. "What?! I was expecting someone much older .. and good looking."

Her two buddies seem to be enjoying this about as much as she is. "Well I'm just here to give you a message. There's a new leader of the Hunters. And we are hoping that maybe this war between us could end."

Now it was Kingston's turn laugh. "Yeah I'll believe that when this "new" leader tells me himself."

She rolls her eyes. "Your looking at her."

My jaw drops and so does everyone else's in the room.

She seems to look bored. "Look, I have more important things to worry about right now then you mutts, you act like it's crazy for a woman to be a leader. Look at your princess, she'll be queen one day."

Kingston shakes his head. "Well the hunter's leaders are normally men."

The woman laughs. "Yeah and they also run in the same family. I happen to be the only child of the Hunter Leader that some girl named Dawn killed."

Kingston's mouth drops. "Wait, hold on, your related to the man who killed the Vampire King's sister and tried to kill our Princess... Not to mention.. wiping out almost the entire Vampire Royal Henson family?!"

She nods. "Yes ma'am. That's about sums it up. Now I have things I have to do. Bye."

Kingston grabs her roughly by the arm. "Oh there ain't no way I'm letting you go."

She looks over at me, with a look of suprise?

I scoff. "Did you really think we would just let you go on your merry way?"

She sighs and mutters. "Yes, that's what the council said.

She angrily looks towards  the window. "I knew they were trying to get rid of me. They're watching me right now..."
