I stop and wait for him to approach me.. he looks so familiar.

Then it hits me. "Dad?! Dad!!"

He hadn't changed much from the last time before I saw him.

I feel like child as he embraces me in his arms. "Dad where have you been all my life.."

I see a tear roll down his cheek. "I'm sorry son. I went into hiding so that that the hunters wouldn't go after you and your sister. Where is Delilah?"

I turn and point behind me. "She's at the Alpha's house. Her mate is Alpha Kingtson."

My dad smiles. "His father was a good man. I remember when Kingston was just a tiny tot. Cecily loved that kid to death. So did Dawn."

I scratch my head. "So.. what are you doing in vampire territory?"

He chuckles. "Well I'm the Vampire King. Had to explain my situation to the council. Before I ran off to hide with your mother.. who by the way is the werewolf princess."

I cut him off. "Hold up my mom was the werewolf princess?!"

He corrects me. "Is. She never died. It was a lie planted in your head by the dark society."

I pause for a moment in thought. "So of she is alive, then why don't the wolves know where she is?"

He laughs. "Only the Alphas know. It's to protect the princess. The Werewolf King isn't too happy with her and really isn't happy with me. So.. that's basically the situation. I was actually on my way to see y'all."

I smile. Then I realize I just ran from there for almost killing Delilah.

I sit on ground not sure how to tell him. "Dad, I did something that.. you aren't going to like."

He sits down beside me with concern in his eyes. "What happened?"

I run my hand through my hair. "I hurt Delilah.."

I quickly go on. "I didn't do it on purpose. I didn't even know I was choking her until I snapped out of whatever had me."

I look up to see his reaction. He looks thoughtfully towards the sky. "Michael.. what happened to you. What caused you to do such an horrific thing?"

I sigh frustrated. "I don't know. I kept fighting with someone in my head."

He stands up quickly. "You are a werewolf aren't you?"

I nod. He opens his mouth then closes it. "Perhaps it's your wolf."

I stand up nodding. "Yeah that's right... I never thought of that."

He puts a hand on my shoulder. "If you go against your wolf's instincts.. you basically get sent into a whirl of pain."

I smile. "I'm glad that's what it is... But how do I stop it from happening again?"

He shrugs his shoulder. "I don't have the answer son, maybe try controlling your wolf or even just speaking to him. I don't know how it works for the Moon God."

Confused, I try to figure out how he knew that. He laughs. "I have friends in high places."
