Chapter

Michael POV

i can feel my wolf fight against me.  It doesn't make sense.  Why is my wolf trying to control me,  werewolves get along with their inner wolf.  But no,  for some reason mine is out to kill.  

Kelly takes a step back and then quickly runs to the man.  I almost forgot he was the lead Hunter.  

The man glares deep into my eyes.  "I don't know what your plans were mutt but I'm going to kill you one way another. "

The young woman is looking at me with a murderous glare of her own.  I'm really not sure what to do at the point.  Then I hear a growl behind me.  Then another.  And another.  And another.  Guards from the pack came for me.  

I watch as one of them jump out infront of me grabbing the girl's leg in his mouth.  She let's out a scream trying to get loose.  The Lead Hunter has no chance to react as three other wolves pounce on him. He struggles to keep them from biting his neck. 

I'm not feeling any kind of sympathy for either of them, to be honest I hope theres a special place below for them when they die but today was not the time for them to go there.  

"STOP, DON'T KILL THEM!" The wolves look at me with irritation in their eyes.  One snaps back.  "The only reason we're helping you is because Delilah sent us.  I personally saw how you tried to kill her.  If it were up to me,  I would have let them take you. Traitor.. "

The lead Hunter stares at me in shock as I do the same at the wolf.  I feel guilt rise to the surface but at the same time my wolf is beginning to get angry again.  I deserved his words but my wolf doesn't care.  He wants the other wolf dead. I close my eyes and take a deep breath.  Don't react.  Be calm. 

I take a few steps back and then continue talking.  "First off,  I'm higher rank than you so show some respect,  secondly you have no idea what I'm going through.. Only Delilah knows and if you did,  you definitely would not be using that tone with me.  Know your place guard. "

His eyes widen and I see a smirk quickly cross the young lady's face but disappears just as fast.  My wolf begins to settle down and the guards take human form.  I can see anger boiling in the one guards face but he keeps quiet.  

"Take them to the Alpha.  Then let him decide what to do.".

Just as we begin to walk back some how the Lead Hunter gets out of the grasp of one of the guards. He cuts his throat and runs in the other direction.  He escapes and one of the guards calls for back up but it's too late he's already across onto Hunter territory. And that's okay we still have the girl.  

I look at her as she grins but I quickly wipe that smile off. "Say good bye to your brother.  That's the last time you'll ever see him alive. "
