My homeroom class is so annoying, and the teacher doesn't even care. He didn't tell us his name because he doesn't care. He actually said on the first day," I don't care what you guys do as long as you don't kill anyone or yourselves or kiss. Have fun." This is everyone's favorite class, except me, it's always too loud to read. I have to find something else to do. Normally I just draw, but today I wanted to figure out Jack's schedule. This is what I wrote.

After I finished I started drawing a tree without leaves. Then Kelcea came to me. She is the most popular girl in school. I think she likes Jack, he's rejected her twice. She hates me because I'm good friends with him.
"Hey Lindy"
"Hi" I said back, avoiding eye contact.
"Why are you just sitting there all alone, not having any fun like the rest of us?"
"Just drawing"
"What are you drawing?"
"A leafless tree."
"So a dead tree?"
"No not a lifeless tree, a leafless tree."
"So a dead tree?"
"No a leafless tree is still alive, it got cold and so it couldn't make enough nutrients for its leaves, so they all fell off, unless it is really is a dead tree, but if you're not sure, just cut a twig from the tree......"
"Like you cut your hand with a piece of paper after running into the teacher's desk?"
"No. I meant with a pocket knife. If the inside is green, then it's alive, if the inside is brown......."
"It's dead," Kelcea finished for me,"Like Jack's love for me. But it's green for you."
"Me and Jack are just friends, he doesn't like me." Even though in my heart I really wish he did.
"Then how come all he talks about is how your big brown eyes are so understanding and you understand how he feels because you're sympathetic."
"I'm just easy to talk to."
"Then how come he said that your curly blond hair bounces behind you and looks so pretty flying in the wind?" She's getting annoying and probably lying.
"He probably doesn't want to date you. He's rejected you twice." After the words came out I knew I said the wrong thing. Kelcea scoffed turned around and walked away. The teacher stood up.
"Okay class it's time to go." I was the first one out of the room.
