"Welcome to your new home Mom and Dad!" Kayda and I exclaimed happily. My parents gasped.
"Oh and you guys too." Kayda pointed to Nari, Mycket, Sefrian, and Litranara. "My family will have the west wing and Mycket, Nari, Sefrian, and Litranara will have the east wing." Kayda smiled.
"Oh my," Sefrian gasped, "Are you sure you want us to live with you guys?"
"You guys are like my sisters, of course I'm sure. And you know, I could always kick you out if I needed too." We all laughed. Lindy pulled me towards her.
"Jack, I need to get home, I'll be in big trouble if I'm not there in time."
"I know, I need to talk to Kayda about something first."
"Okay?" I walked towards Kayda.
"Kayda, I need to talk to you privately." She nodded. We walked into a private hall, you could hear the others laughing about something.
"What do you need to talk about?"
"We'll, I want to continue to live in the human realm and I...." Kayda interrupted me.
"No. You just got back home, I've missed you. You can't..." I interrupted her.
"I wasn't done yet. I have a plan of how I can still see you guys but live in the human realm too."
"What would that plan be?" Kayda asked.
"Well, I could go to school there, and come back home at night and be with you guys and then on the weekends I would come here. If I had a sleepover in the human realm I would spend the night there though, but I would tell you guys." I offered.
"That is actually pretty good. I still get to see you and you still get to live in the human realm. But one thing," she paused, "I have to be able to come visit you whenever I want."
"Of course you can! You could even come and meet me at my school at the end of the day if you wanted."
"I would love that." I smiled and she smiled back.
"It looks like I'm going back to the human realm." I smiled.

"This is your suite." Kayda took Nari and I into a big room. There was a living room with a cream-colored couch that was facing a TV. There were two bedrooms, one for me and one for Nari.
"This is Mycket's bedroom." We walked into my bedroom. There was a king sized bed with golden sheets. The walls were white with gold engravings. There was a white dresser and a walk-in closet. There was another door that led into a huge bathroom. Again, it was white and gold.
Kayda led us to the second bedroom, "This is Nari's room." It was a beautiful blood-red color. Everything was basically the same as my room except for the colors.
"It's beautiful Kayda. Thank you." Nari said.
"Thank you Kayda." I said.
"Is it all right?" Kayda asked.
"That's a stupid question Kayda, I said it's beautiful." Nari said.
"Phew, I was worried you wouldn't like it." She walked out of the room. I started to leave.
"Where are you going Mycket?" Nari asked.
"I'm going to go see my mother." I said. I missed her so much, I should have talked to her sooner, but I was a little bit preoccupied.
"I-I, well, you see, um, your- your mom, isn't here." Nari stuttered out.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, you see, I was going to tell you sooner, but..." She trailed off.
"Tell me what?"
"I didn't have the heart to tell you, but, your mom is," She paused and took a deep breath, "Your mom is, your mom was murdered the same way my mom was. Their graves are close to each other, if you want to visit her." Nari looked at me, but I was looking away. The last time I said goodbye to her, was really the last time.
"I want to go and visit, can you show me where it is? But then I'll need some alone time." I said.
"Sure, come on." She laced her arm into mine and we went.
I was re-reading this and the Mycket part almost made me cry. Sorry about the sad.
