Someone go get the teacher!" I heard Jack yell. I opened my eyes, Jack and the nerdy kid were above me. "It'll be okay Lindy, it's okay. Right .....?" Jack glanced up at the nerdy kid.
"Well, she started to fall, but you caught her right before she hit her head, so she won't have a concussion, which is great. We should keep the paper towel on her head. Oh look she's waking up."
...
Oh thank goodness she was okay. I was so scared.
"Lindy are you okay? How many fingers am I holding up?" I asked.
"Jack I'm fine, could I get some water though?" I stood up.
"Brielle can you go get her some water?" Brielle nodded, thank goodness, I needed Lindy to be okay. "Where is the teacher?" I yelled.
The kid who went to get the teacher came back, "The teacher isn't here today and there were no substitute teachers available." That means we had a free period. Great, just great.
"Jack, how about you tell your girlfriend to get up off the floor." Kelcea finally spoke. Great.
"Kelcea, she isn't my girlfriend. She fainted, which is why she's on the floor." I swear I hate Kelcea so much.
"Jack, I think I can sit up now." Lindy whispered.
"Slowly though okay?" she sat up. Brielle came back and gave Lindy her water.
"Thank you Brielle." Lindy said. Brielle nodded a you're welcome and I mouthed thank you to her.
"Jack," it was Kelcea again, " I need to talk to Lindy, leave."
"What makes you think I'm going to leave..."
"Jack, I'll be fine, you can leave for a second."
"Fine." I walked away. What was Kelcea going to do?
.....
I just saw Jack's back as he was leaving, why did I say he could go? Luckily I could tell him to come back with the mind talking thing. I was still a little dizzy, but I stood up -slowly, so I wouldn't have to sit down again.
"You need to get out of my way." Kelcea stated. I looked at her and moved to the side a little bit, now she could get past me. She looked at me, confused, but then realized what I did. "Seriously? I meant you need to let me get to Jack, so he doesn't compare me with you, again."
"He has never compared you with me. You compare yourself with me. He compares you to his standards. You aren't good enough for him, according to his standards."
"Excuse me? He just compared us minutes ago."
"That's because you pressured him to. Maybe you shouldn't want to date him if he doesn't even want to date you." I saw a burning in her eyes. She wanted to hurt me. She started to take a step forward, but Jack ran into the room. He jumped right in front of me.
"Excuse you Kelcea, but I think you're getting into her personal space." She looked annoyed.
"Jack move right now."
"No." They stared down at each other for a minute. The room was completely silent.
"Then you have to go out with me." Kelcea said.
"I'm sorry, not really, but I can't."Jack replied.
"Why not?" Kelcea looked annoyed.
"Because I have a girlfriend." Jack said confidently. I couldn't see his face, but I knew he had a sly smirk on his face.
"Then who is it."
"Well I haven't asked her yet, but I will in a second." Kelcea looked really annoyed. She opened her mouth to say something, but Jack turned around and faced me.
"Lindy, will you be my girlfriend?" Jack said he smiled so big. I started to blush. I saw Kelcea's stunned face and everyone staring at me. I got flustered and couldn't think of anything to say. I opened my mouth.
"I LIKE DRAGONS!" I yelled, very loudly. Kelcea jumped back from the sudden loudness. I heard giggles from around the room.
Jack leaned towards me, "Well I hope you say yes then, because I am half of one you know." He whispered. He backed away and smiled again.
"Yes, sorry I yelled." There were some cheers from around the room. Jack gave me a hug then grabbed my hand. He turned around to face Kelcea.
"Kelcea, this is my girlfriend Lindy." She had her jaw open wide.
"Oh heck yeah!" We heard Mycket yell in our heads. We both smiled.
