Ariel

It was a quiet peaceful night. The streets were empty, the street lights bright, and not a soul around. Ariel had been on her way back from her job when it happened.

Without warning, the quiet went eerily silent. The street lights suddenly didn't seem bright enough. She could almost feel the eyes on her, her body, her skin. Invading, unwanted. She couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched. Something was hiding in the shadows. Waiting. Watching.

She froze, ready to run, when he slipped into the light. He was tall, muscular. She knew immediately that she didn't stand a chance in a fight with him. She was spreading her wings, preparing to flee, when he pounced. She didn't even have a chance at escaping. He roughly yanked her, moving them back into the shadows. Without a care he shoved her against the wall, crushing her wings against the stone. She cried out as she felt one of them fracture. That wasn't going to be easy to heal.

It was then that the gravity of the situation began to sink in. This angel. He was going to force himself on her. There would be no coming back from this.

But she wouldn't go out without a fight.

With both hands she squeezed his neck with as much power as she could muster. And taking her knee, she began to bring it up, attempting to ram it between his legs.

That attempt was thwarted easily.

He only grabbed her leg, and shoved it to the side. Forcing her to open her legs up to his attack.

Her hands seemed to have no effect on him. He simply ignored them as if they were nothing but pesky insects, and he continued on with his assault. Panic began to well up in her. This couldn't end well.

Attempting another avenue, she rammed her fist into his ear, hoping to daze him enough that she would be able to free herself. However, this only served to make him angrier. Gripping her wrists, he ripped her arms above her head, leaving the rest of her completely at his mercy. She began to twist and turn, trying in vain to get away.

This isn't happening. This isn't happening. It's all just a nightmare. Any minute now, she would wake up, panting, soaked in sweat.

But she didn't wake up. This was real. This was happening.

God. No. Please.

She began to beg. Pray. For someone to interrupt, for someone to intervene, for someone to save her.

But nothing happened.

"Stop it. Get off of me right this instant."

But her words had no effect on him. He continued on as if he hadn't heard her demand. He removed one hand from her wrists, shifting his grip to his other. His now free hand traveled down until it reached her breast. He grasped it tightly, causing her to gasp at the pain. He dragged that same hand down her front, sliding it down until it reached her bare thigh. He slowly slid it back up, placing it under her dress. He ripped the dress up until her lower half was completely exposed. His hips ground against hers and a broken cry escaped her lips. She didn't want to seem weak. If this was to be her fate, she would face it bravely.

A lone tear escaped her eye. And cursing its existence, she reinforced the gate, refusing to let any more of its kin escape.

A dark chuckle came out of his mouth.

"Relax lovie no need for tears, you'll enjoy this. I know I will."

She decided to fight one more time. One more attempt to free herself. With her one free leg, she kicked with all her might at his shin, hoping to catch him off guard.

Clearly fate had already decided.

In response her attacker shoved her into the wall, banging her head in the process. She blinked, trying to clear her vision. Her ears were ringing. God that had hurt.

He now caged her whole body against the stone, leaving her with no room to maneuver. She was truly trapped. This was it.

She resigned herself to her fate. No one was going to save her, and she was powerless to save herself. Her body immediately went limp, the fight left her. All that was left was a numbness. She stared blankly into the glow of the street light behind them. She focused on that, the light. Goodness. Brightness. And she tried to block out the scene that was occurring around her, to her. She barely felt the moment that he removed his hand from her body, moving it to undo his jeans. She barely felt the moment that he ground his now uncovered hips against her center. Intruding, violating.

She did however, feel the moment that his whole body tensed. She felt it when he suddenly switched their positions so he was positioned with his back against the wall. He pulled her roughly against his body. And then...

"Get off. What are you doing you whore?" He shoved her back. And in the dazed state she was in, she didn't recover in time to catch herself. She landed roughly on her back. He had shoved her with so much force that she bounced when her body made contact with the ground. She gasped, trying to catch the breath that had been forced out of her lungs. What had happened? Why did he shove her off of him like that?

"What exactly is going on here?" A strong, crude voice sounded from behind her.

"She attacked me sir. I was minding my own business, taking a nice nighttime stroll when she attacks me. She shoved me against this wall and told me that she was going to have her way with me."

She gasped, unable to believe the lies that were coming out of this bastard's mouth.

"I was in such a state of shock at her audacity that I froze and didn't know what to do."

This couldn't be happening. I was almost raped and now this sick bastard decided to try and make it out to be my doing.

"That's a lie. You attacked me." Whipping around, she faced the man who had interrupted them. Looking up at him from where she was sitting, he appeared even taller and intimidating then her attacker did.

"Shut up woman." Reaching down and grasping her bicep, he yanked her to her feet.

"We'll decide your fate once we are in the presence of the remaining councilmen."

"But I didn't do anything. He attacked me!" She tried to plead with him, to make him see the truth.

"Silence!" He continued to drag her. Uncaring to the fact that she was innocent. She was accused by a male angel. There was no way he could be lying. He was of the superior gender. Her voice mattered more than hers ever could.

As she was dragged off to learn her sentence, her snapped wing aching, she already knew her fate. She wouldn't be set free. She had been convicted of the worst crime underneath murder. Yes. Her fate had already been decided.

AN~

This is a little depressing i know. I'm sorry I'm sorry. But it had to happen. It did happen. This was her flashback to that night. We now know what exactly happened to her. What do you think Raziel's reaction will be?

I just realized that they don't even know each other's names yet. That will probably have to change next chapter.
