So I decided to write Alana's happy ending for my girl ToodlesNoodle after she left Enterprise to help on a starbase. This is the short ORIGINAL version; I ended up changing her story so this doesn't stand. Cute fic tho
Basically she ends up at a starbase and meets this cute doctor called Alistair Atwood, who she becomes friends and falls in love with but she's also in a shitty shitty place mentally and physically and actually ends up with he boy, and then is like "??? why aren't i suddenly happy and puking rainbows and shit??"
Anyways she either attempts or collapses and lands in the hospital and the guy is in full sad boi hours and poor baby adam is with him. so the boy kicks her off work and makes her go to therapy. and a few months down the road yeah she's a bit better but not as good as the guy hoped. they're still together and so he lets her move in with him so he can maybe try and figure out what's wrong if anything
Once that happens he realizes that it's just the general stress of life and she has a really slow natural recovery time, but he still makes her do stuff like eat. his strategy is "if you don't do it i won't either" which helps her
eventually years down the road she's doing great and near back to what a normal person should be, and he pops the question, and while they have their ups and downs they have a happy marriage and Alana has her first biological baby, which has her last name since Alistair has siblings and both Alistair and Alana wants her name to continue. they have a total of three, two biological babies and Adam.

Basic bio... —Two years and a few weeks older than Alana (January 29th) —6 foot 1 and a half, says he's 6'2 || 154 lbs CMO of a Starbase & Psychiatrist —Graduated SFA at 24 with all of his medical training —Oldest of three: next is a brother then sister.
For reference: — Alana left in 2297, when she was 27, and met Alistair a few weeks after she left. — Alana and Alistair dated for three years and were engaged for two, making their future wedding take place on August 1, 2302, with Alana at 32 and Alistair at 34.
So, based on Alana's new life, I decided to write a small story: bean's proposal!!
Alana was coming off shift when she noticed that her phone had buzzed. Raising an eyebrow, the thirty-year-old woman saw a text from Alistair.
Hey, A... can you come to meet me in our favorite spot for dinner? I'm not at home right now, I've got to work until awhile later. It's a date, okay?
The blonde wondered what could be happening. Usually, Alistair was home by now, and watching TV or making dinner.
