The next day were much easier. Kylo were more helpful and didn't ask alot of questions, at least not about the past. «Look, theese lightballs are inside of both of us» You formed one lightball in each of you're hands. «One represents the dark, the other represents the light» the lightball in your right hand faded into a black dark ball. Kylo raised his eyebrow at this. How you even managed to do something like that was incredeble. «We all have a part of dark, and light... a balance.» the lightball's started to flow in the air between you both. «The conflict inside you is tearing you appart, and I see your pain...» the lightballs starting to attack eachother, and everytime they hit eachother, a lightning came. «This is how it looks like, Kylo... what those lightballs are doing right infront of your eyes, thats what going on inside your very own soul»
Kylo looked at the lightballs and walked around them. «How do you know?» You walked over to him and placed a hand on his chest, almost feeling his heartbeats. «Because Even though you can't see it itself, I see it clearly.. from how you was at a younger age, to the first time I saw you as Kylo Ren, until now» you looked him in the eyes with a sad smile. «They went from a balance, to fighting eachother, and then from light to darkness, and now... they fight eachother harder and more painful than ever» You walked over to the other side of the lightballs, stopping the fight. «What I'm trying to learn you, is to combine those forces inside you, balance them» you showed the lightballs closer, as they grew togheter. One side was pure light, the other dark as the night.. and in the middle, grey. «When you do so, you will find peace» you waved your hand, making them dissapear into thin air.
You had both worked hard the past few days, and Kylo had actually made some progress. «Enough for today.. lets make some dinner» You walked into the kitchen, and started to cook his favourite meal. Belive it or not, but both you and Kylo had grown closer. «Can I ask you about something?» Kylo leaned against the table and looked at you. «Sure» You nodded. «You know my grandmother, I hear she still is a big deal in the politician world?» You placed the food in the oven and turned the timer on. «She is, yes. She even is the most known person here on Naboo too, they even have a own day they celebrate her» You smiled. Padmè was a insporation to you. «Is that so? Even after everything?» Kylo seemed lost in his thoughts. «What do you know about her, Kylo?» He scoffed a little as an answer. «She was married to my grandfather, some people said she died in chilbirth, some said Vader killed her»
You nodded slowly, he had no knowledge. «Padmé Amidala Naberrie, was beautiful, intellegent, brave, kind.... but also very sad» Kylo's head went straight to you, giving you all the attention. «She loved Annakin more than herself, and even married him against the law.... she cared more for others than herself, wanted to let everyone have peace and happiness» You sighed slowly. «It was not childbirth, nor Vader who took her life, Kylo... The reports say so, yes... because the cause of her death can't be found on a autopsy... The Republic stated she died in childbirth, cause it was common to do soo.... The Emperor, or Sidius... he blamed Darth Vader and his anger after the force choke insident... only to fuel his anger and selfhatred» Kylo narrowed his brows slowly, not quite understanding.
«If those weren't the reasion, what could make her die that young?» Kylo knew the answer, but didn't want to belive it. «Whats the strongest power, yet the crulest? What makes you strong, yet weak?» You looked at him, hopeing he would tell you what you wanted, but sadly he kept his silence. «She died the most painful and horrible death someone can imagine... all because of Love» Kylo shaked his head slightly. «It's the truth, you may ask her yourself one day... heartbrake after she lost her love to the darkness, the shock... It was too much to fight, and even harder when you are giving birth... all these combined was the reasion too her passing...» you sighed slowly. The story always made you emotional.. you knew the truth, as the force had showed you.. «how can you be soo sure?»
You had started to trust Kylo more than you should. You knew that in you're heart you could never stop loving him, and sometimes you hoped he never stopped loving you. «I almost went down the same path... kind of.. The force helped me from it when you turned, and .. I don't know why» He looked at you, kind of suprised and shocked. «Wait... hold on... you are telling me.. you almost died?» You nodded slowly not wanting to meet his eyes. «Well, thats one of the times I almost died though, but one of the times I remember that actually showed me how powerful things can be» you chuckled a bit of the thought. «But.. Why? How?» Kylo stopped asking and he went back into his mind. «I'm sorry.. I never thought I damaged you that much.... I would never do that intentionally» His words shocked you.
Kylo Ren apologized? «Don't blame yourself, we both did things back then without thinking...» He nodded slowly. He walked over to you, and carefully places his hand on your cheek. «I may be a cruel man, but I have a weak spot for you still, just as you have with me..» a small smile could be seen on his face, making you smile too. «Maybe we don't need to be alone in things afterall, commander?» You both laughed a bit, before the dinner was ready.

You choosed to take a walk that night. You couldn't sleep, and needed air. Kylo on the other hand, He slept better than ever.. or soo it seemed. You went down to the lake and sat down. «Conflicted you become?» you looked over at Master Yoda, or more like his force ghost. «Master Yoda?» The tiny figure stood beside you. «Light within you, starting to fade it has» You nodded slowly, already knowing the truth. «I know master, I'm working on it... What if I fail him?» Yoda looked at you with a comforting smile. «Trust in him, you most. Your light fade, it can not» You looked up on the stars. You knew very well what was about to come, and you knew you couldn't let your light fade.. «I feel lost in all this, master Yoda... I trust him to do the right thing when the time comes, but The light in me, the fading of it... I don't know what to do»
Your eyes fell down on your hands.. ever since you lost Ben to the dark side, the light you hold started to fade. If the light fades away completly, you will die, and hope for the galaxy with it. It was a part of the deal with being a guarding for the light, or more princess if you rather put it that way. «Your heart you most follow, and you will find what you seek» With his words spoken, Yoda was gone. Maybe this was a part of your test.. the easiest would have been to let you only be a force user, but you had to have this light, and responsibility with it. «Y/N? Why are you out here?» you turned and looked at Kylo. He came up by your side and sat down with you. «I had a hard time sleeping.. and needed some air» He nodded slowly.
You felt something warm came over your shoulders, and looked at Kylo. «You looked cold... it's better to let you borrow my cloack, then too let you get sick» You gave him a small kiss on his cheek. «Thank you» The day's here had become helpful with alot of things. You kind of liked this side of him, and you weren't soo afraid of being around him anymore. «You know.. we might ended things badly, and we might started out a little bit rocky, maybe we should figure things out, just the two of us?» Your eyes looked at him, almost not beliveing what just came out of him. «We can't let them know, but ..» you took his hand and gave it a small squeeze. «I would love to try to fix this, Kylo.. Just being ourself around eachother, as we used to» He smiled and wrapped his arms around you, pulling you into a hug. «Just you and me, like it should always have been» Kylo kissed you on your head and both of you sat there, togheter and enjoyed the view of the lake togheter... relaxed in eachothers company and embrace once more.
