"White-lie"
They said it again.
You always hoped they wouldn't,
Wished they'd tell you what's going on.
You were sick of this,
But you couldn't blame them;
Because you said it too...
They told you they were okay,
And you always say the same...
But they can see through your disguise,
And you can see through their lies.
You wonder why they hide their heart,
Why they change their mind,
On how much they trust you...
But you push too hard,
And they push you away.
You never thought it'd come to this...
But they wondered why you didn't trust them back too...
Because while you were sick of their white lie?
They felt all on their own because of yours.
