I got a shower, got dressed and took off to get the bus. I would usually get to school in my Dad's car but after what happened last night, I can't even make eye contact with him."Aren't you going to come with me in the car sweetheart?" my Dad asked. "No, I'll just get the bus. Martin."I can no longer call Martin my dad because a dad is meant to love their child, not betray them. There was an awkward silence. I left, slamming the door behind me. I walked to Finn's house. Who is this Finn you may ask? Well, Finn. My best friend. He's the only reason I'm actually happy sometimes despite what happens in my unstable home. Once I arrived to his house, he was stood outside his door. "Hey Sizzler!" He exclaimed. "What's up Fishy?" I chuckled. We walked to the bus stop together and talked about our homework and other stuff like that. He was also the only person I trusted enough to tell him about the events happening in my house. Finn asked me if things were getting any better in my house. I told him that things only get worse under that roof. I told him everything that my dad did to me. He was so angry and upset for me. Eventually, the bus came. We got on and got to school within no time at all. "Back at Devil's Corner once again," he sighed. We laughed and walked in. Finn and I did everything together. We had the same classes so we kind of liked school. As long as we had each other, we knew we would be able to survive school. We were wondering around school until we found a mysterious black orb on the floor. We began to notice a trail of them buried into the ground. They lead us to an abandoned classroom. We saw a sort of oval shape on the wall. We wanted to find out more, but the bell rang for the end of school. Finn and I got the bus back to our houses and said goodbye to each other. "Text me Sizzler! OK?" cried Finn. "Will do Fishy!" I answered. I laughed on the back to my house. Once I got back home, Belinda and Martin asked me where I had been. I told them I was at school as usual. They should know this basic information though. I went to my room and crashed on my bed. I don't know why but I felt a little more tired than usual. I was up videocalling Finn until midnight. We both had to go to bed because we had school the next day. Tomorrow wasn't gonna be that bad. It'll be Friday. Who doesn't like Friday?
