Chapter 5: Undiscovered Powers

Once I got back to my house, Martin and Belinda stood there with angry looks on their faces. "What's wrong?" Martin came up to me and slapped me. The red mark of his evil doing hand was deeply imprinted on my face. I didn't cry because I wanted to show that I was stronger than that. "Why did you try to stab your mother?" Martin shouts. I stood there cluelessly and didn't know what he was talking about. "Answer me!" He yelled. He tackled me to the ground and beat me up. Belinda was stood there laughing. I can't believe she lied to Martin. I can't believe he would believe her of all people. I thought I knew him very well. But now I've learnt that we have so many differences. "I've made up my mind." Martin sighed. I looked at him with anger firing up in my eyes. "I'm sending you to your grandma's house and I never want to see you here again!" Martin yelled. The last thing I said to that man was ' go to hell'. He shoved me to the ground and I ran upstairs to my room to gather all of my things. I left but then came back as I  felt a sudden urge to get my revenge. I glared at Martin and he started to levitate. I then quickly tilted my neck and doing that broke his neck. I stretched my hand out and then put it  down fast. This made him slam onto the floor. "You'll regret this Belinda. You will regret this." I left, using my telekinesis to slam the door shut so hard, that the door broke and fell forwards. I walked to Finn's house after going back to that place for about an hour. "Sizzler? What are you doing here at 8 pm?" Finn asked. "I'll explain later. Listen, I'm gonna need to stay for maybe until I'm 18?" I answered. "Woah! Sophie, I don't know. Wait, is this because of the people? If it is, you can stay until you're one hundred. My mother will understand." Finn explained. "Oh my gosh Finn you're a lifesaver! Thank you!" I exclaimed. "Anytime Sizzler!" Finn chuckled. I laughed and went inside. We quickly went to Finn's bedroom because I needed to tell him about my powers. I told him what I had did to Martin. He started to get all angry because he hadn't got any powers yet. Suddenly, his chair flung across the room and hit the door. "Told you." I replied. Finn was in disbelief, but in a good way. He was so happy to have telekinesis powers . "This is so cool!" He shrieked. Now that we both had powers, we felt so invincible. If anyone tried to mess with us, they would regret it. Finn started to use his telekinesis more and started to levitate me. So I did the same to him. There we were. Two best friends just floating in mid air together. It was getting really late so we used our telekinesis to make the bed. I used mine to set up a bed on the floor. "Night Sizzler," Finn said. "Good night Fishy," I giggled. Despite everything that had happened today, Finn was really the reason why I was coping. And now that I will be kind of living with him, I'm gonna find a lot more about him.
