I woke up to Finn snoring in my face. I smiled and got out of bed. I had a shower and got dressed. By the time I was ready to go to school, Finn was still sleeping so I decided to wake him up. He was really grumpy, but got ready for school. We headed downstairs and found Mrs Otley in a happier mood than usual. We asked her why she was in such a happy mood. She told us that her sister was coming over tomorrow. Finn groaned and put his head down on the table. We left the house and began to walk to the bus stop. "Don't you like your aunt?" I asked Finn. "It's more than a dislike Soph, it's a hatred." Finn sighed. "Isn't that a bit harsh, Finn?" I asked him. "It's not if she makes me do everything for her," he sighed. Anyways, we got to the bus stop a bit earlier than usual so we waited and waited until the bus arrived.

We got to school about 10 minutes earlier than usual so we went to the classroom. It was beginning to become our hangout. We always chilled in that gloomy classroom. The bell rang for lunch so Finn and I headed to the classroom. "Soph, we should get a name for this place," Finn said. I agreed and we began to to think of names. Who knew thinking of a name would be so hard? We just forgot about that idea and chilled in the classroom. "So," Finn mumbled. "How's it going?" I answered. I pinched myself because I realised how stupid I sounded. "What's going on Finn?" I asked. "Nothing," he said unconvincingly. "Finn, you can tell me, come on," I said. I kept on interrogating him until I finally got a response other than 'Nothing'. Finn answered, " Well, I...", before he finished his sentence, he ran in to the empty corridor. "Finn!" I exclaimed. He suddenly stopped in his tracks. "Finn, are you---" I was stopped by the soft lips of Finn.

I was in absolute shock. I stood frozen like a statue but then began to loosen up. I had always loved Finn, but I pushed those feelings aside and tried to ignore them. I guess Finn felt the same way. The kiss came to a close and Finn stared deep into my eyes. "Sophie, I love you." he said. "Do you love me?" he asked anxiously. "Finn Otley, I always have but I didn't want to get rejected," I answered. He smiled and we hugged it out. I felt so relieved to tell him how I really felt about him. We decided to take things a step further and in the blink of an eye, Finn had transformed from my best friend to my boyfriend. I was worried this would affect our relationship but clearly it didn't. We just went back to Finn's house and sat down for dinner. "Where have you two been all day? It's nearly 7:00pm!" Mrs Otley said. "Sorry, we were just dealing with some stuff," Finn said. I couldn't help but to laugh; clearly Finn couldn't help it either. We burst out laughing and couldn't stop. Mrs Otley started to become suspicious. But I guess she just let it go. Finn and I had finished our dinner and headed to his room. We crashed onto the bed. Finn started to doze off, but I woke him up with a kiss. He smiled and said good night to me. "Good night,"I said. Finn hugged me and I guess he did through the night because we woke up in the same position.
