Summertime Love (A Kalin and Myles Fanfic)

Chapter 2

-CHAPTER 2-

After school I meet jackie at her locker.
"You'll never guess what is just found out." Jackie immediately says back
"What?"
"Jakes brother is a rapper, and him and his friend Kalin put out some really cool music!"
Jackie seems really excited when she's telling me this, but I already knew a little about it.
"Yeah, that's what I've heard Kalin and Myles right?"
"Yes! And wow Lexi have you seen Kalin? He's pretty damn good looking."
So that's why she's excited... Jackie can get a little boy crazy at times, which is the complete opposite of me. I've never had a boyfriend, usually when a boy likes me I don't find much interest in him, and I've only liked a couple boys my whole life, but they're way too good for me.
We get in our cars and drive to her house. I pick up some food for the both of us on the way, so I get there after her. I walk into her room and see her dancing around to loud music that I've never heard before.
"This is kalin and myles!" She screams for me to hear her over the music.
I'm gonna lie it's really catchy, and I like the style a lot. I turn it down so I could call my mom and tell her what were doing tonight. She tells me I can't be out late, because I have a beach volleyball tournament tomorrow. Beach volleyball is what I do in the summer for my off season.
"My mom says I have to be home by 11 so I'll get sleep for tomorrow," I tell jackie
"You let your mom control you so much. You're gonna be 18 in less than three months.." Jackie goes on trying to convince me to stay later.
Most parties in Bay Area end really late at night, because everyone's always having such a good time.
I change my shirt, and put on a light blue flowy tank top from pacsun, it's more fitting for a beach party, and I like wearing it because the color matches my eyes.
After i get changed I go into the bathroom and put mousse in my hair too make my beach waves more defined. I have wavy hair already, but the mousse adds a cuter curl.
When I come out I see Jackie dancing around to kalin and Myles music again and wearing a light pink v-neck and black jean shorts. she always looks so pretty, I wish I could look like her sometimes.
"Ready to go?!" She asks once she notices me in her room.
"Yeah sure, who's driving?" I ask.
"I'll have my mom drive us, just in case things get too crazy," she laughs.
We get in the car and drive to his house, it's only about a five minute drive.
