Summertime Love (A Kalin and Myles Fanfic)

Chapter 12

-CHAPTER 12-

After the firework show Myles and I decide to go back to his house instead of staying for the rest of the party. On the way back I call Jackie and talk to her about her and Kalin. I tried my best to understand what she was saying, but it was hard to make out what she was saying over the sound of her crying. I told her I was sorry and that I would come see her tomorrow so i could actually help her feel better, but right now I just wanted to focus on Myles. When we get back to his house we both say we're tired and decide to just chill out and watch a movie in his room. He puts on the movie "Happy Gilmore" which is one of his favorites. We watch some of the movie, between conversations and little make out sessions, I didn't even know what was going on for most of the film.

"This has been one of my favorite nights in a really long time," Myles tells me.

"Mine too," I say as I lie my head on his chest. Everything seemed so perfect, and for the first time in forever I was genuinely happy.

We start watching the rest of the movie, but we both must have fallen asleep before it ended.

I wake up around 9am. My mom is going to be so pissed.. I think to myself. Hopefully she'll understand, and if I lie and say I was at Jackie's I should be fine. Instead of waking up and heading home I decide just to go back to sleep until later, 9am was pretty early for me to wake up in the summer, and I was still a bit tired. When I finally wake up again its already 12pm and I notice Myles is not in the bed. I walk downstairs and find him preparing breakfast for us.

"Goodmorning," I say, "This is cute. What are you making"

"I'm glad you finally woke up," he laughs, "but I'm just making eggs bacon and toast. I'm not much of a chef."

"Well I think it's perfect," I say as I go behind him and kiss him on the cheek.

We eat breakfast and by 1pm I leave his house to go visit Jackie. First I go home to shower and change clothes then I head over to her house with her favorite candy and our favorite movie we watch when were sad.

When I get to her house she doesn't seem too upset, but I just want to know exactly what happened, and she explains.

"Girls on twitter kept tweeting me saying Kalin was cheating...I didn't believe them, until a girl DMed me a picture of Kalin kissing a girl on the lips. I haven't talked to him since I saw the picture. I'm more mad that he denied it and didn't expect me to find out."

I'm actually shocked hearing this from her, Kalin doesn't seem like the type... And it seemed like he genuinely cared a lot about her. Was it all an act? If It was, Myles better not be acting with me.
