Summertime Love (A Kalin and Myles Fanfic)

Chapter 5

-CHAPTER 5-

I acted like I didn't see her and just went straight to my room so she wouldn't yell at me. When I took my phone out of my purse I saw I had a text from Myles, and I instantly smiled. I washed my face, and brushed my teeth and got ready for bed before I replied. We stayed up til 3 am texting, but I fell asleep, which is probably a good thing since I have volleyball in the morning.
When I wake up I see a text from Jackie saying that she's coming to my tournament. Jackie and I always go to each other's sporting events, and cheer each other on.
I get ready quickly just by putting on my uniform, and brushing my hair and teeth. For beach volleyball our uniforms are basically like sports bras and spandex, so I put a tee shirt on over it until game time.
When it's my serve I hear a lot more cheering than usual, I look over to see Jackie, kalin, and Myles all sitting on the sidelines. Oh god. I feel butterflies in my stomach and get super nervous. Thankfully, my serve just barely gets over but we lose the point on a kill. Seeing Myles put so much more pressure on me, because I want him to be impressed in what I do, since I'm so impressed in what he does. We end up winning 2 games and losing 1, but I could have done better. After the games I know I look gross and sweaty so I don't want to talk to him, but when I'm not paying attention I feel hands on my waist. I slowly turn around.
"Damn you're amazing!" Myles says
"Haha, nah I mean I could've done better," I say looking down.
He lifts my chin and gives me a quick kiss, "Don't be too hard on yourself, I was pretty impressed," he winks and starts to walk away
The kissed surprised me, but I didn't want it to end.
"Oh by the way we'll pick you up in an hour we're going out to dinner," he yells as he's walking
"Sounds good!" I shout back.
