Chapter 4

-CHAPTER 4-
He takes me up the stairs of his house, all the way up to a third floor. When we walk in there's a recording studio, instruments, and a bunch of other professional music stuff.
"So this is where the magic happens?" I ask playfully
"Have you heard my music?" He asks, almost surprised that I knew he was an artist.
"Yeah, just recently. But it's good!" I reply
"Haha, thanks."
We sat down together on his couch and just talked about our lives for what felt like all night. We were in the middle of a talking when he leaned in slowly and gave me a quick kiss. I wanted to go in for more but not short after my phone started ringing. It was my mom, I realized I was supposed to be home by 11 and it was already 11:30.
"Oh my god..." I say
"What's wrong?" he asks sounding concerned
"Nothing it's just I was supposed to be home a while ago I totally lost track of time, and my mom can be strict about this stuff. I'm so sorry"
"Don't worry about it babe." he replies
Did he just call me babe? I blush and say "We should hangout sometime soon, ill put my number in your phone."
I put my number in, quickly give him a kiss on the cheek, smile and run downstairs to find Jackie.
When I get downstairs I see her laying down with Kalin's arm around her. I felt bad making her leave, but she was my ride home.
"Jackie I'm way late can we get picked up?"
"I called my mom she's asleep. I guess we can walk?" she suggests unwillingly.
"I can drive you guys let's go," Kalin tells us
"Thank you so much it honestly means a lot." I tell him
He drives us home and him and jackie jam out to music in the front seat. I sit in the back wishing I could still be with Myles. We get home and my mom is on the couch reading a book, probably waiting for me.
