Natalie's POV
I woke up with a migraine. What time was it? I stretched my arm towards his dresser. I checked my phone. It was 10pm.
"Miles," I said shaking him slightly. "Wake up."
"Hmm?" He rolled onto his side so he was facing me.
"I'm hungry and we slept past dinner. Can we go to McDonald's?" I asked.
"Yeah...." he got up and grabbed his phone and keys.

We got to McDonald's and got some food. We sat down and talked. I nearly fell back asleep.
"You're tired?" he asked laughing at me.
"Yeah," I said.
"Let's go down to the beach!" he yelled.
"I don't want to. It's late," I said.
"Please?" he asked.
"Fine," I said.
When we were done, he drove to the beach. We got out and began walking. I ran after him. As I was walking beside him, he laced his fingers through mine. I smiled to myself.
"You look beautiful," he said smiling at me.
I blushed. "Thanks," I said looking down.
He turned towards me and tilted my chin up with his index finger. He looked directly into my eyes for a second. He then gave me a small, passionate kiss on the lips. I felt shocks shoot through my body.
When he pulled away, I couldn't help but smile. He smiled too and then started walking back. I followed him.
He opened the door for me.
"Hey, what time is it?" I asked.
He checked his phone. "12:30," he said.
"Oh, well can you drive me back to my house? My brother is probably wondering where I am," I said.
"Sure," he said.

Miles's POV
After I dropped her off, I collapsed onto my bed. I couldn't sleep so I stared blankly at the ceiling. I kissed her! It felt so right. When I did it the first time, I remember feeling giddy, but now I felt something more. Something unexplainable. It was the best feeling ever.
I fell asleep, still thinking about Natalie.
