Natalie's POV
I woke up with a blistering headache. I sat up quickly and instantly regretted it. My mind went through a world of swirls and I fell back onto the bed.
"What was that?" Miles asked.
"Shut up," I said.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"Head," I said.
Miles got the clue and didn't say anything else. My head hurt so badly that I felt the need to throw up. I slowly walked out of bed and opened a window to let the breeze in. I laid back down and took in the fresh air. I found myself drifting to sleep.
When I woke up, I still had a headache, but not as bad. I looked at the clock and it was 10:29am. I looked around for Miles, but instead I noticed a white slip of paper on the nightstand next to me.
"Hey beautiful :)
I went to the store to pick up a few things. Don't go anywhere. You can text me. I should be back sometime in the afternoon. Hope you get better!
Xox Miles"
I read out loud. I laughed slightly for some reason, I don't even know.
I decided to text him.
"Hey bb. Just wanna let you know my headache is getting better. Thx for the note. Xox <3"
-me
He replied after a couple of minutes.
"Hey! Glad you're feeling better! I love you to the moon and back. Be der soon!"

I searched through Netflix and decided on Grownups. I hit play on the remote and laid down with my pillow at the foot of the bed.
Around halfway through the movie, I heard a knock on the hotel door.
"Are you a criminal?!" I shouted.
"Only because I stole your heart!" I heard Miles shout back.
I walked over to the door and let him in. He hugged me tight.
"I missed you," I said.
"So did I," he said kissing my cheek.
"So...what'd you get?" I asked.
"Well, I got ibuprofen, chocolate, and this..." he pulled out a cute ring that looked gold and had a small diamond in the middle.
"Awe! How much was it?" I asked.
"25..." he said.
"Cents?" I asked.
He pretended to look hurt, but then nodded.
"Yeah. I got it from the quarter machine, but still. Do you like it?" he asked.
"I love it," I laughed as he slid it onto my right ring finger.
"Grownups? You're watching it without me?!" he said pointing to the tv.
I went back to where I was laying on the bed and he laid next to me. When the movie was over, it was around 12pm.
"Hey, it's only 12 in the afternoon. Wanna do something?" he asked.
"Truthfully, no. Can it just be a lazy day please?" I asked.
"Of course baby," he smiled.
I smiled back, but was pulled into a kiss. I rolled over onto him sliding my fingers through his hair. He put his hands on my back. His tongue skidded along my bottom lip asking for entrance. I excepted. Our tongues wrestled against each other. I let him win and he explored my mouth with his tongue. I tugged at his hair.
I pulled away and he smiled at me, while looking into my eyes. His twinkly brown eyes stared into my sparkling blue ones. He kissed me again, but this time with more passion than intensity. I placed my hands on his chest along with my head. I listened to his heartbeat as he kept his arms around my back.
Our cuddle session was interrupted by a knock on our hotel door.
"Who the hell could that be?" Miles groaned.
I got up and unlocked the door. Chase and Sophie ran in and attacked me into a hug.
"Hey guys!" I yelled.
"Hey!" Chase said going in for another, tighter hug.
Umm, ok then? I looked over at Miles who had a hint of jealousy in his eyes. It made him look sexy.
"So...." Miles said awkwardly, "What are you guys doing here?"
"Bored without you guys I guess," Sophie said.
Me and Miles just nodded.
"Well, we got a hotel room the floor beneath you guys so I want Natalie to stay with me tonight and you guys can have this one. We need to catch up on our girl talk," Sophie said.
I giggled. She obviously means me and Miles's love life. I wonder how she'll react once she finds out we're dating. She probably already figured we were.
"For now!" I yelled, "let's go down to the beach!"
The room cheered and me and Sophie went into the bathroom to change. When everyone was done, we went and played around. We collected shells and took pictures of many different things. I found a starfish and played with it for a bit. I kept finding little crabs and played around with them while Sophie took pictures.
When the sun was going down, we all sat on a giant rock and watched. Sophie took the best picture you could imagine. Me and Miles were sitting on the rock (before Chase sat with us) and we were holding hands. You could only see the outline of our backs because everything else was mostly dark, other then the sun that was leaving a pinkish purple cast. She uploaded the beautiful picture on Instagram.

Hey guys! I was thinking about stopping here for a while (not ending) but just stop updating for a while because I've barely gotten any reads. I would just stop until I got more reads and people actually wanted to read it. I have no clue if Miles is going to read it which really disappoints me. I made this for him, but you guys can just think of it as a regular fiction story because he's not gonna read it anyways.
