Chapter 15

Natalie's POV

Two weeks have passed since the night of the beach party and everything has been going good since then. Me and Miles have not gotten in any fights, but at one point Chase caught us in a deep make out session. Yeah it was pretty awkward.

"Hey babe, you've got everything?" Miles asked me as I stood up from my bed.

"Yeah.... I'm too tired for this though. Why can't we just go later? It's seriously 5am!!!" I yelled annoyed. We are driving back to our hometown in Canton Georgia today.

"Because the later we drive, the later we'll be home and I told my parents that I'd be home before midnight," he said in a 'duh' tone.

"Whateverrrrrr," I groaned.

We arrived home around 9pm because we stopped a few hundred times and ate. I already allied my mom and asked if I could stay the night at Miles's house since it's already pretty late and she said yes.... Omg I haven't told her that we're going out... ummm?

We got into his room and I immediately crashed out on his bed. Mhhm beautiful sleep. Feels so nice. He scooted in next to me and we fell asleep.

"Miles... wake up please?" I ask shaking his side.

"What time is it?" He asks sleepily.

"Uh.... it's 10:30 in the morning," I said.

"Why do I have to get up?" he groans.

"Cause I'm gonna go home. I need you to drop me off," I said.

He sits up and goes downstairs. I grab my things and go down too.

"Ready?" he asks.

"Yep!" I smile.

We get to my house and I forget that we were holding hands. Taylor opens the door and his eyes immediately flash to our interlocked hands.

"Ooooh! Ima tell mom!" he yells.

"No!!! Shut up, shut up, shut up!" I yell.

He runs upstairs and I cringe.

"Don't worry, she'll be fine. She loves me!" Miles laughed and kissed my cheek before walking back to his car.

I go up to my room and put everything away. When I'm done, I pull out The Fault In Our Stars and continue reading from where I had left off.

"Soooo," my mom smirks as she walks through the door.

"Ughh!" I groan as I shut my book and glare at her.

"Don't worry! It's Miles! I trust that kid. The only thing.... we're all going out for dinner tonight and he's coming just so I know he's the same Miles as he used to be," she smiles and walks out.

I call Miles. Hurry the fuck up... I mumble to the phone.

"Hello?" He says.

"Hey! Uhh, well my mom found out and wants you over tonight cause I guess we have to go out to dinner? Yeah well it's gonna suck," I say totally annoyed.

"Hah, it's gonna be fine. I promise. I'll be on my best behavior, ok?" I swear I can hear his smile.... if that's possible?

"Okay.... dress casual. Gotta go, love you byeee," I said.

"Love you too. Bye," he said.

I go to my closet and pick out a white tank top, a pink infinity scarf, and black leggings. I put my hair up in a fancy bun with a braid wrapped around it. It looks nice, I'll admit that. I put on light cover up, mascara, and blush.

"Well, don't you look cute!!" Miles yelled as I walked down the stairs.

"Omg, how long have you been here?" I ask.

"Not too long," he smiles.

"Did they annoy you?" I ask signaling toward my mom and brother.

"Ehh, no not really," he laughs.

"You guys ready?" my mom asks.

"Yeah," we say.

We all hop into the car and awkwardly have small talk on the way there. When we get to the restaurant, It's nothing too fancy. We pile up in a booth. My mom sitting in front of Miles and my brother in front of me.

We get our food and talk some. Miles rests his hand on my thigh and I jump, but cough a little to make it look like I just had a tickle in my throat. He smirks and moves in up higher until it's practically on my vagina.

"How's the food?" he asks me.

I give him a death glare.

"You're such an ass!" I scream- whisper as I shut the door to my room.

"but I'm your ass," he smiles.

"No, Miles, you're the pain in my ass," I say crossing my arms.

"You know you liked it," he laughs.

"Shut up!" I say.

I throw my clothes off and put my pjs on. Miles does the same. I search through Netflix and we decide on White Chicks even though we watch that movie at least twice a week. I fall asleep next to him, being cradled in his warm arms.
