Natalie's POV

Me and Miles joked around during lunch. Sophie kept bringing up awkward things during our conversations. She was trying to get us to get together, but both me and Miles wanted to stay friends.

We made plans to go to some guys party this weekend and I was actually looking forward to it until his parents found out and it got canceled. So me, Sophie, and Miles just decided to go to my house and watch movies.

"You guys kissed! How do you not want to go out?!" Sophie screamed.

Everyone in the cafeteria turned around to look at us. Me and Miles blushed.

"Please shut the fuck up..." I whispered to her.

"I don't know. We like each other, we just don't want to risk breaking up," Miles said.

"But that's the thing: you guys wouldn't brake up. You're perfect for each other!" she smiled.

"Sophie, drop it," I said.

"Whatever," she laughed.

Friday night

Miles's POV

Me, Natalie, and Sophie picked out a movie. We decide on The Notebook. I honestly liked this movie, but I tried to act cool and protested. Luckily, they wouldn't budge.

Sophie sat in the chair. I sat down on the couch and Natalie leaned on me. She laid her head on my chest. I put my arm around her. Sophie smirked.

Halfway through the movie, I sniffled and tried to be quiet.

Natalie looked up at me. "Are you crying?!" She practically screamed.

"What?! No!" I said, wiping away the tears.

She laughed really loud and then snorted. I moved to the end of the couch and stared at the movie.

"You're mad at me?" she asked.

I stayed silent.

"The silent treatment. Hmm, good, but we're not five. Grow up," she said.

I softened up a bit and scooted back over to her. She laughed. We cuddled again. We noticed Sophie with a box of tissues crying her eyes out. I asked for one and started crying again.

I woke up to the smell of pancakes. I looked over the couch and noticed Natalie cooking.

"Good morning!" She smiled.

"Hey, whatcha cooking?" I asked sleepily.

"Bacon, eggs, pancakes, and toast," she said.

"Oh em gee you're going to make a wonderful wife," I said.

She laughed nervously then blushed.

I started eating and Sophie got up.

"What should we do today?" I asked.

"Beach!" Sophie said.

"Yeah, sure," Natalie said.

***

Damn. Natalie looked great in a bikini. She was absolutely perfect. She wasn't too skinny. She was slightly tanned. She was small and petite.

She laid down on the sand and began playing on her phone. I rolled my eyes. There's not a minute that she's not on that thing.

I ran over to her and ripped it out of her hands. I tossed it into her bag. I picked her up, easily, and spun her around. We fell into the water. She came up laughing and slapped me. I laughed at her too.

"Raccoon," I said.

She looked at me confused. "Huh?" she asked.

"You're mascara..." I said wiping at it.

"Oh yeah!" she laughed, wiping it off too.

"Blond moment!" I screamed.

She hit me again.

We continued laughing and playing around until the sun began to set.

Natalie's POV

We laid the towel down on the sand and I laid my head down on his belly. We watched the sun go down, while Sophie awkwardly sat across from us playing on her phone.

While it was almost completely down, Miles bent down and kissed me on the lips. I felt shocks immediately. This time wasn't like others, though. It lasted longer. I ran my hand through his hair and sat up. He grabbed around my neck. When we pulled away, we couldn't look away from each other.

Then Sophie awkwardly interrupted us.

"Hmm!" She cleared her throat. "You guys missed the sunset," she said.

Me and Miles giggled.

We held hands and walked back to his car. Me and Sophie decided to have a sleep over and he had to go back to his house. When we walked up into my room, she almost immediately began talking about me and Miles.

"Oh em gee!" She screamed. "That was so romantic. Come on! You're practically dating!"

"Sophie, shhh!" I scream-whispered.

My brother walked in. "So... you and Miles kissed?" he asked smirking.

I liked at him, shocked. Then turned to Sophie and glared at her.

"Don't worry!" he laughed. "I knew you guys would eventually get together."

"But we're not together!" I protested.

"Yeah, ok," he said.

"No seriously!" I yelled.

"Night guys," he said.

Before I could say anything else, he walked out.
