(Shane's POV)
-5 weeks later-
It's miserable without him. I have no one. There are ones who care for me, but the one person who truly loved me...is gone. Forever.
It's been 5 weeks and in still a mess. Who am I kidding...I'll be like this forever. I haven't brushed my teeth, cleansed my body, brushed my hair, gotten changed...I haven't done any of that. What's the point?
Today I'm suppose to clean out joeys stuff. Go through things of his and whatever isn't special to me...will be given away to someone. But...everything of his is special to me.
I walked into what use to be our room. Going through joeys drawers and stuff. It was all just his phone and cloths. Nothing really worth keeping.
I skinned across the room to look for anything else of his. Most of it was fan mail.
I looked under the bed. I saw a book.
Shane: huh?
I said to myself.
I grabbed the grayish book out from under the bed and opened it.
dear diary, today is the day shane leaves for two months! I just cant believe I wont see him for that long. I'm going to miss him so much. but on a happier note, hes making his first movie! im so proud of him! who wouldn't be?!I love him so much.
Joey...wrote this? I couldn't help but cry. But I was smiling. The first time I've smiled in 5 weeks.
I read through some more and it was all about how he missed me and how he's proud of me.
I have so many emotions building up and I don't know what to do with them. I know joey's out there...looking down at me...smiling with them cute dimples. I start to smile some more.
Shane: thank you joey...for making my life better.
I say, still tearing up. I put the book back under the bed and lay on the bed. Thinking. Joey would want me to move on and be happy. Even though one of us is gone...that doesn't mean our love is gone. Our love will never die.
It will last forever.
