Ch. 48 The Ring

(Shane's POV)

He finally got home. I wasn't talk during the entire ride. I just found out I might die...what else could I talk about besides that? Nothing. That's the only thing that's beeb conquering my mind.

Joey: it's only 2:00. Wanna go out?

Shane: actually yeah i do. Wanna hit the mall? There's something I wanna get.

Joey: sure! I gotta get some new cloths anyway haha

Shane: haha ok cool let's go then!

I had to text someone to help me out with this. I can't do it alone.

If I'm going to die, I wanna die at least knowing I married the man I love, Joey Michael Graceffa.

I'm going to buy a ring.

Oh I know who to call!

Zoella: hello?

Shane: hey Zoe! Can you help me out with something?

Zoella: of coarse? What is it you need help with?

Shane: I want to propose to joey, and I need help picking out a ring.

Zoella: AHH OH MY GOSH! I'll be right over!!!

Shane: Haha can you actually meet me at the mall? I don't want joey to get suspicious.

Zoella: sure, no problem!

Shane: thanks Zoe.

We hung up.

Zoella was visiting the US for a bit, thankfully joey didn't know that just yet.

Joey came out from our bedroom, back into the living room where I was standing.

Joey: ready to go?

Shane: yep!

We hopped back in the car and drove about an hour or so to the mall.

(Joeys POV)

I started to vlog once we got out of the car.

Joey: so we decided to go to the mall and get some goody goodies!

Shane: cause we're sooo rich and fabulous.

Shane said in his Paris voice

Joey: hahaha yup! Haha well, I'm just gonna get some new cloths to fill up a new wardrobe and we be on our way back home. See you guys when we get back.

I ended the vlog.

We walked in the mall.

(Shane's POV)

I saw Zoella right away. I had to make sure joey didn't see her though, and Zoella noticed that too, so she tried hiding in one of the stores.

Shane: how bout you go to one of the clothing stores and I'll go get what I gotta get and we'll meet up here.

Joey: ok! See yah.

We walked in different directions and I ran towards Zoella. It hurt to run, so I soon stopped. 5 more weeks and the pain is gone...

Dammit shane stop thinking about that and think about the bigger moment of your life, proposing to your boyfriend.

Zoella: hey Shane! I found a great jewelry store over here, follow me!

Shane: ok.

I smiled. Well, at least I tried to.

Maybe it was a real smile. I mean, I'm going to propose to joey! What's not to smile about? As of now..

Shane: hmm..so many choices...uggghhh the struggle.

Zoella laughed.

I had my eye on one green ring. It's joeys favorite color. And was the color of his eyes.

Shane: excuse me sir?

I asked the front desk guy.

Guy: call me devan.

He smiled.

Shane: ok..devan.. I was wondering if the men rings can be engraved?

Zoella looked at me in confusion. Why? I just wanted it engraved. Something nice and loving.

Devan: yes! Which ring would you like to be engraved?

Shane: the green one.

Devan: alright! What would you like it to say?

Devan said as he took the ring out from under the cabinet.

I had to think long and hard about this one. Once it's engraved..I can't change it..what will it say?

Shane: could I have a moment to think about it?

Devan: yes, of coarse.

I sat in one of the leather couches. Thinking. What will it say?

Zoella: I think the ring is beautiful! I was actually about to point that one out before you asked for it to be engraved haha.

Shane: Haha I just can't figure out what to engrave into it...

Zoella: how about something you two once said to each other?

Hmm something we said to each other...

I love you

Our place

That's another one.

Which one do I like the most though? They're bother pretty good, and cute.

I decided our place would be a good one.
