Ch.47 I have...what?

(Sawyers POV)

I was thinking if how I should move somewhere else, when I heard a knock on my door.

I turned, walked towards the door, opened, and there stood a nightmare. I knew what they were here for.

Officer: sir, we've gottin a notification about a kidnapping? Are you.. Sawyer Hartman?

Sawyer: umm..why would you need to know that?

Officer: sir, please. Answer the question.

Sawyer: umm, ok... Yes..I am sawyer Hartman..

Officer: ok sir, if you could just turn around

I did as he told and felt something cuff to my hands...shit.

Sawyer: wh-what?!?

Officer: come with us.

The officer said as he pulled me out of my apartment.

I deserve this.

I didn't try to struggle at all. Maybe this was meant to be. Maybe this was my "get away" place I've been thinking about.

(Shane's POV)

Shane: I have what?

My body felt tense, my heart dropped. The doctor just told me something. That might change my life forever.

Doctor: I'm..I'm sorry shane. But the test results came in positive. You have cancer.

You have cancer was all I could hear. And think about.

How will I tell joey?

I wasn't even thinking of what might happen to me. Just what will happen to the ones I love after they find out.

Shane: c-can't you remove it o-or like-

Doctor: it's too late for removal.

Shane: but the pain only started last night!

Doctor: it's been building up for a while now. You just started to feel it now because it's taken over most of your body.

The doctor had a sympathetic look on his face.

Doctor: I'm sorry shane, I know this is a lot to take in. But you must know that, if you're lucky, you have 5 weeks to..

Joey came in

Joey: is everything alright in here? The nurse said I could come in to check on you.

What can I say? I can't just say I have cancer right on the spot.

Shane: everything is fine. Just a cold. I'll be better in a few days.

I just lied to him. This won't end well. I can already tell.

The doctor cleared his throughout.

Doctor: yes so Shane can go home and make sure he gets plenty of sleep.

He smiled.

Joey: oh that's great! You've been in here for so long I thought it was something serious!

Joey smiled in relief.

I forced a smile. All I can try to do is smile. For him.

Shane: ok well let's get out of this depressing place!

We laughed and walked out.

Joey walked back into the waiting room, as was I but the doctor stopped me.

Doctor: Shane, take it easy ok? And, I'll see if we can work something out, maybe it's not too late. I'll call you to let you know ok?

Shane: ok, thank you doctor.

I had a shaky voice.

I walked back to the car where joey was.

Joey: mind if I vlog?

Shane: coarse not.

(Joeys POV)

Joey: hello there everyone! So, Shane and I are just getting out of the doctors office, my Shaney is sick! Noooooo.

I made a sad face towards the camera, then pointed it to shane.

Shane: yeah, just a cold.

Joey: yep so we're heading back home now so I can take care of my Shane! And so yeah, that's pretty much what's going on today. New vlog will be up tomorrow and sorry for this short one. It's just a little update. May the odds be ever in your favor goodbye.
