Chapter 31

Warning : bad language and scene of mistreatment

I was half asleep when I heard the door being opened. I saw immediately that Derek was in a bad mood. He was gritting his teeth.

I sat down, still wrapped into the blanket. I had to gain his trust so why not beginning now ?

'' Is everything okay ?'' I asked.

He said nothing and unchained my ankle. I frowned.

'' Derek ? ''

" Shut up ! '' he snapped at me.

I glupped when his eyes looked at me with anger. He grabbed the blanket and threw it away. I gaspped, surprise. Then he grabbed my arms tightly.

'' Derek, you're hurting me '' I said, trying not to cry. I was sure it will let bruises on my skin.

'' I said shut up, slut. Don't try to fool me. I know you just want to escape from here. But you will never go out of here, you hear me ! NEVER ! '' he screamed to my face.

My body got limp at his words. I let him drag me to the living room. I saw something that I didn't see the first time: a pole.

He grabbed my left wrist and handcuffed it to the pole. I sild along the pole and sat on the floor, shaking of fear and cold. I was only in my underwear.

Suddenly I heard music. I watched Derek sitting on his couch, in front of me.

"Dance ! '' he shouted.

Shivering, I tried to stand up but my legs gave up and I fell on the ground. He stood upand came toward me.

'' You have to obey to your master, bitch ! '' he said, grabbing my hair. He made me stand up, pulling my hair up. I wimpered of fear. He pressed harshly my faceagainst the cold metal of the pole, making my lower lip bleeding.

'' Do. You. Understand ?''

I nodded quickly. He let my hair go and went to sit on the couch again. I closed my eyes and tried to focuse on the music. I began to dance slowly at first. It took me some times to be used to the handcuffs. I kept my eyes closed. I didn't want to cross his gaze. I just had to focus on the music, that's all.

" They found the car I took to bring you here '' I heard him mumbled. ''Do those fuckers think they can take you away from me ? ''

My heart beat faster. They will find me.

They were headed on the right direction.
