Finn
"You're home!" Finn yelled, running down the hall and picking me up as I came through the door. I laughed, the bags falling out of hands and into the floor as Finn started to drown me in kisses like a mother.
"Finn, calm down, he just got home," Jaeden laughed as Finn carried me into the living room. I smiled brightly as I noticed everyone was here and Finn set my down, taking my hand and squeezing it tightly.
"I was so worried." Sophia frowned, pulling me into a tight embrace. "Thanks, Soph." I smiled as she ruffled my hair. "I made brownies." Millie sang, walking into the room with a platter. Caleb and Gaten nearly tackled her getting to the plate and I laughed, leaning against Finn's side.
Finn smiled down at me, "come over here." We sat down on the couch as everybody talked. I felt good. Warm, safe, smiley. I nearly forgot all about Noah.

NoahI decided to go on a walk on the account I had nothing else to do. I knew that jack had come home earlier and that everyone was at his house hanging out, which made me anxious. Had jack told them what happened? More importantly, had he told Finn?
I shrugged. Perhaps not, since Finn hadn't shown up on my doorstep yet, huffing and puffing. "Noah! Hey! Wait up!" I looked behind me to see a smiling Jeremy and turned back around to roll my eyes. He hasn't been leaving me alone. Why the hell does he wanna hang around me so bad when my actual friends don't even wanna see me?
I thought about what Wyatt said and how he thought I should give Jeremy a try. I didn't wanna give Jeremy a try though. I wanted to get jack a try....if Finn wasn't in the way. Jeremy caught up to me, out of breath and a wide smile accompanying his flushed face.
"Hey." I said, mostly expressionless. "Hi." Jeremy replied, looking around awkwardly as he walked beside me. "So, uh, any plans..." Jeremy asked, trailing off. "I never have plans." I shrugged.
He laughed at that as if it was a joke. "Oh, well, I don't have any either.." He gave me a small half smile, digging his hands in his pockets. "So?" My voice was harsher this time. Jeremy's grin faltered slightly, but he was persistent.
"Maybe we can do something sometime." He said, blushing. What the hell was I supposed to say to that? The more I thought, the more I realized it could be a nice way to get closer to jack and the rest of the group.
I smiled back at Jeremy. "Sure." His face automatically lit up. "Really? I mean, cool! Fun." He stuttered, nodding his head. "I'll text you sometime." I said, walking off.
"Okay! Bye, Noah!" He called after me, his voice in an odd high pitch from excitement.

Finn"So, the snowball's coming up soon.." Jack muttered. "I'm so excited!" Sadie squealed from the back seat. I remained silent. "I know my date." Wyatt smirked at Jaeden. "Who said I wanna go with you?" Jaeden said, sarcastically.
Wyatt scoffed. "Don't get sassy with me, Jae. You can do that later when we're not with our friends." Sadie, Jack, and I gagged. "Why are you two so gross?" Sadie crossed her arms. "Why are you so gay?" Wyatt retorted, scrunching up his face. "I'm gay?" Sadie raised an eyebrow, leaning forward.
"We're all gay." Jack rolled his eyes. I wasn't listening to their banter, however, as I continued looking in front of the steering wheel. Talk about the snowball reappeared and I could feel jack's eyes on me, waiting for me to join in.
My step dad wouldn't allow me to go to the snowball. I just know it. Firstly, he doesn't even know about jack, and definitely wouldn't approve of it. Secondly, anything extra school related I mention he shoots down and demands it's stupid and that I shouldn't be out so late. Like always, my mom says nothing.
"Well, Finn?" Jack asks, everyone else goes silent. "I can't go." I mumble. I could feel Jack tense up. "What?" His voice was small and I could hear the disappointment in it. "I'm sorry."
"Why?" He lets out a small whine and I can tell he's holding back tears. This was important to him. It was the first time we'd go to a school dance together. I frowned. "Hey, maybe I'll work it out and will be able to go, okay?" I smiled at him, brushing hair out of his face.
There's no way I was gonna work this out without getting my ass beat. Little did I know, Jack had already realized my problem and was already working to solve it...for good.
