Chapter 2

Cuphead POV

12 years later..........

" So Hilda when are you gonna tell Cagney your feelings?" I asked smirking and raising an eyebrow. She blushed madly and says "None of your business tea cup." Thats been my nickname for 12 years........ 12 years since Mugman and I beat the devil and freed
everyone from his evil deeds. Throughout those 12 years I've met some new people and grown closer to some. But most of all I've been going through depression. I never told anyone because......well...... I didn't want anyone to know. I've put so many people through so much...... they don't need to go through my problems as well.

Hilda's POV

He's doing it again, staring out; day dreaming. I snap my fingers in front of his face and he snaps out of his thoughts. "You okay Cuphead?" I asked worriedly. He knows I'm serious when I say his full name instead of calling him tea cup or Cups.
"Yeah...... Hilda I'm.....I'm okay." He replies with a shaky breath. I shake my head in disappointment knowing that he lied to me once more. I sigh and said "Cuphead........what's wrong......please.......tell me what's wrong with you." I asked softly touching his shoulder. I see tears brimming in his eyes as my eyes widened. He chokes a sob and starts crying and shaking uncontrollably. I hug him and rub his head gently. I kept hugging him and whispered sweet things in his ear(😅 ?). "Now Cuphead.......tell me what's up." I said sternly. He sighs and stutters "Hilda....I-I have.....depression." My eyes widened in shock as I look at him. I feel a sudden pang of anger wash over me as I smacked the back of his head very hard.

Cuphead's POV

I rubbed the back of my head giving her the 'what was that for' look. "You can't just hide things like this from me Cuphead!" She screamed in anger. "I'm sorry.....I just didn't want you to deal with me and my problems." I said looking away from her.
She used her finger to make me look down at her. "Cuphead....you can come to me about anything don't you EVER forget that." Hilda said holding a stern face. I shook my head 'yes' and hugged her tighter.

* Alright here's another chapter of this wonderful ship of mine. Bendy will be in the next chapter so be prepared for that. Also I ship Cagney and Hilda if you don't like that ship I'm super sorry😇 but I just think they are super kawaii.
