Chapter 9

       Unknown POV:

               "Welcome Cuphead!" I exclaimed. "Please do have a seat." I offered pointing to the near by chair. The cup shook his head no and continued to stand. "So what brings you" "Shut up and cut the polite s***" He growled glaring at me. "I see...alright let's get down to it then." I said in a serious tone as I got up from my chair. "Let's go to a more private place to chat." I state walking towards my office. I opened the door and walked to my desk. "Close the door." I commanded as I sat down. Cuphead scoffed but closed the creaky door after he entered.

      Cuphead's POV:

              I watched as he sat down pointing to the chair in front of his desk. I took a quick glance around the room and finally stared at him. I walked cautiously until reached the chair. I reluctantly sat down and glared at him. "Why didn't you meet me at the casino like you said you would?" I snarled. "Watch your tone when talking to me little cup and I didn't arrive at the casino because I was testing you." He explained keeping a calm expression. "Test me?" I asked curiously. 'Test me for what?' I thought cautiously. "Test you for something very important when the time comes." He stated irritation showing in his voice his dark eyes boring into mine. "When what comes?" I questioned crossing my arms over my chest. "NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS PATHETIC SNEAKY LITTLE CUP!" He yelled slamming his hands on the desk leaving a crack and his body shaking in anger. I didn't flinch as I stared at him wondering why he blew up like that over some question. I continued to stare at him with a distant look on my face as he sat down taking deep breaths mumbling words under his breath. "It is none of your business and I was testing your hesitation." He stated in a more calmer tone. 'My hesitation?' I thought curiously raising an eyebrow in confusion. "I've done some research and found out that you used to hesitate just like your brother." He said calmly tapping his fingers against the desk.

                   I snapped my head up hearing about Mugs catching my full attention. "What do you know?" I asked getting defensive. "I know everything Cuphead from the start till now." I balled up my fists and gritted my teeth getting angry at the stupid man. "I know that you almost lost you and your brother's souls due to a bet you made, I know you take happy pills so that people don't find out about your depression, I know that you have a lover and you would give him the world, I know" "SHUT UP! IVE HEARD ENOUGH OF YOUR NONSENSE!" I screamed as I got up and paced around the room tugging at my hair in frustration and anger.

                    Unknown POV:

                 I'm getting to him. I guess I should be thanking my best source of information. "Calm down Cup" "NO! NO! NO! SHUT UP! I don't need to hear anymore." The cup snapped at me. "Stop telling me to shut up before someone gets hurt and things get bloody." I warned him in a dangerous tone. "As I was saying calm down, although I already know most about you I don't know about this power you hold." I state clasping my hands together. Cuphead looked at me and raised an eyebrow in my direction. "What power?" He questioned. "This power you have the fact that you have power in your tone, your face and body scream power, and your so demanding where do you get it from?" I asked pretending to be eager to hear his response. "Well..." he trailed off sitting back down on the chair. 'This should distract him while I wait for my reliable source to bring me someone important to him' I thought as I listened to Cuphead state where he gets that power from. 'Though I am quite impressed and interested he would make a great puppet.'

                   Mugman's POV:

                      'Where are you Cuppy?' I thought worriedly as I approached Hilda's house. "Hilda?!" I called out waiting for her to come. "Hello? Oh hey Mugs what's up?" She asked smiling softly. "I need your help." I said in worried tone. Her facial expression turned from a happy one to a worried one. "Why what happened?" Hilda asked. "Cuphead left this morning and hasn't returned back to our apartment yet and it's been hours." I told her nervously shaking slightly worrying for my brother's safety. "Oh my goodness I'll tell the others and will search for him first thing in the morning okay." She told me with a reassuring face. Hilda hugs me and tells me that they will find Cuphead. I sighed in relief knowing that he will be found soon. I break from the hug and smile softly. "You should be heading home now it's pretty late." I looked up at the sky and saw the stars shining. 'It is late.' I thought. "Do you want me to drop you off?" Hilda asked. "No it's okay I can get there on my own, but thanks for the offer." I told her walking away from her. 'Boris! I need to get home to him.' I thought about Boris as I started to run.

        *Time Skip*

                      I finally see the apartment and walked the final block before reaching the apartment. 'It's quiet...too quiet for my liking.' I thought cautiously looking both ways before crossing. 'I feel like I'm being watched and followed.' I thought feeling an intense gaze burning my down my back sending shivers down my spine in a bad way. The feeling not shaking off I decided to speed walk. I reached the apartment door, quickly opened it and slammed it shut. I painted softly and turned around to see no one there. I sighed shaking my head. 'It was no one just me being paranoid.' I thought and walked to the elevator. I pressed the button and waited silently for the elevator when I heard someone say sorry and I blacked out.

                   Felix's POV:

                  I stand over Mugman's unconscious body and dragged it to my car trunk. I hand cuffed his hands, tied his legs, and taped his mouth then threw him the trunk. I slammed the trunk shut and walked to the driver seat. I sat in the seat and started the engine. I dialed the Mysterious man and told him I have the mug and was heading to the drop off site. I hung up the phone placed down and stepped on the gas petal. 'I'm so sorry for betraying you guys like this but if it's worth what I need I'll do it. And I won't let anyone stop me from doing so.' I thought as I drove away from the apartment.
