Chapter 4

Bendy's POV

I groan as I sit up in bed rubbing my eye. I squinted my eyes as a beam of sunlight shined into the bedroom. I stretched but as soon as I stretched I yelped in pain and automatically dropped my hands down to my left side. My eyes widened in shock as I remembered what Joey did yesterday night Boris tending to my wounds and injuries.
'Boris helped me and my injuries that night but, I wouldn't have these injuries if it weren't for that devil Joey.' I thought sadly. "Joey...." I growled lowly. I slammed my fist on the bed in anger. "Why does Joey do this...Boris is just a flippin' kid he shouldn't be going through these problems...he's so young...Boris!" I yelled feeling warm tears running down my cheeks. I heard a knock at the door and a voice calling "Bendy?" 'I know that voice...it's most likely Boris checking in on me.' I thought. "It's me Boris can I come in Bendy?" He asked worriedly. "Uh...yeah just uh...give me a minute." I replied wiping away my tears. 'That should do it...' I thought as looked around the room. "Okay....you can come in now." I yelled. I heard the door open as I saw Boris walk in with a worried look on his face. "How are you feeling Bendy?" He asked checking for anymore cuts and bruises. "I'm feelin' fine Boris don't worry." I said reassuring him.
Boris nodded his head still looking convinced. "Bendy I was wondering......" Boris trailed off. "Yeah?" I asked giving him the okay to ask me. "Well....can I go see Mugs today?" He asked eagerly. 'He must really like Mugman.' I thought smugly. "Sure, Boris but I need to go with you." I said in a soft yet stern tone. Boris jumped up and down while clapping his hands in glee. "Hurry up then!" He rushed. "Yeah yeah I'm coming." I said chuckling.

*Meanwhile at The Cupbros house*

Mugman's POV

"Yes!!" I yelled in victory as I threw the controller down to the floor. I heard Cuppy groan in defeat as he got up and stretched. "You cheated Mugs." He said grumpily crossing his arms. "No I didn't I'm just better than you." I said cockily. "Oh really?" He asked cocking an eyebrow. I nodded my head as I felt my body drop to the ground. 'Cuphead tackled me!' I thought in shock. "Now that you feel so cocky you shall get the punishment." Cups said sinisterly. "NO WAIT CUPS!" I screamed. "Too late..." He said lowly. "HAHAHAHAHAHA NO CUPS S-S-STO- HAHAHAHA!!"
I laughed as he tickled my sides harder. "P-P-PLEASE HAHAHAHAHAHA IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN HAHAHAHA!" I begged as tears came out my eyes. Cuphead stops ticking me and gets up off me. "I have spared you so, you better be glad because next time I won't go so easy on ya." He said panting and chuckling. We heard a knock at the door. 'ITS PROBABLY BORIS!' I thought excitedly. "I'll go see who it is." Cups said as he got up to check the door.

Cuphead's POV

I opened the door to see Boris and Bendy holding two bags of CHINESE FOOD!
"Come in please do." I said greedily as I eyed the bags of food. I closed the door as soon as the two stepped in and made my way to the couch. "BORIS!" Mugs yelled happily as he tackled Boris in a bear hug and Boris gladly accepted the hug. 'Heh...adorable.' I thought. "So Bendy what brings you here?" I asked curiously. "Well....Boris wanted to see Mugman so I told him he can as long as I come with him...so here we are." Bendy explained. I nodded my head as I open the food. I finished my food in under 5 minuets as Bendy looked at my with a shocked expression. I blushed, chuckled, and shrugged my shoulders sheepishly. Bendy laughed and shook his head. "Your adorable Cuphead." Bendy mumbled lowly me not to hear but I heard. I blushed madly as I excused myself to the bathroom. I closed the bathroom door softly and leaned against the door placing my hand where my heart is. 'It's beating louder than it did before' I thought as I took a deep breath.

Bendy's POV

I smiled as I watched Cuphead leave the room. 'Why did I say that?' I growled in my thoughts. 'You don't like him you don't like him you don't like him.' I repeat in my mind. I felt someone tap my shoulder and I turned around. "Oh hey Mugman, what's up?" I asked. "Oh....I was wondering if I could take Boris to get some ice cream for this shop...it's not too far from here." He asked nervously looking down while playing with his fingers. 'How adorable he's nervous.' I thought in awe. "Sure Mugman just bring him back" I was cut off with a bunch of thank you's and a hug. I hugged him back and told him to go. He nodded happily as he went to get Boris.

Cuphead's POV

I watched silently as Mugs and Boris left. 'Oh no....it's just Bendy and I......alone......in the living room.' I thought nervously wiping away the dripping sweat off my forehead. I gulped took a deep breath and walked into the living room. "Hey Bendy....where did Boris and Mugs go?" I asked sitting down on the couch. "They went to get some ice cream together." Bendy said in a bored tone turning on the tv. "Oh...that's cool I guess." I said in an uncertain tone. 'I should do something fun with him...but what?' I thought. An idea came to me. "Hey Bendy how about we play truth or dare." I suggested. He pondered for a few minutes and replied "Sure why not." "Sweet!" I exclaimed as I clapped my hands. "Okay...Bendy truth or dare?" I asked smugly.
"Hmm.....dare, I never back down from a challenge." He said proudly. 'Just as I expected.' I thought cockily as I smirked. "I dare you to prank call the Devil himself." I challenged. Bendy's eyes widened in fear as he replied "What?!" "You heard me, if you don't do the dare you have to kiss me." I said grinning from non-existing ear to non-existing ear. Bendy's face flushed a bright red as he thought about his decision. Bendy sighed in frustration as he came near me. I felt my palms get sweaty as he sat on my lap.
'Oh god oh god oh god oh god!' I thought nervously as he inches closer to my face. Our lips were centimeters away until Mugs and Boris walked in. 'DAMMIT!' I thought angrily. "We're back!" Mugs yelled. When I looked down at Bendy he looked pretty bummed out himself. 'So close...' I thought sadly. "What were you two doing?" Mugs asked curiously. "Yeah, why is Bendy on your lap Cuphead?" Boris added. Bendy pushed off me and scrambled away from me as if I had some type of disease. "Well...I was....we were...ummm." Bendy stammered as he thought of an excuse. "Bendy was just getting something out of my hair that's all." I lied smoothly. "Oh okay, we brought back some ice cream for you guys." Mugs said happily. "Cool." Bendy replied in a smooth tone. 'Maybe next time we are alone...I will make my move' I thought as I grabbed my ice cream cone.

*Yay another chapter! I deeply apologize for the delay on this chapter, something popped up over the pass few days and I had to delay on making this chapter. But it's all settled now.
