Chapter 5

Your POV
The boat continued down the long stream until we could see the park. I could feel Finn's eyes on me, no, that's not right. I'm sure he was looking at...er... at the water. Yeah! The water. It was beautiful. We pulled into the dock and stepped off of the boat. I ran down the walkway towards the universal globe. Finn followed while laughing hysterically. When we got to the globe, I was... speechless. I couldn't believe how amazing it was! I gave Finn my phone and asked him to take a picture of me. " How do I look?" I asked. He looked at me for a bit "You always look amazing, why do you even need to ask." He said. I was blushing so hard. I think he was blushing too... No, now I'm just imagining things. He pulled my phone up to his face and took a picture. Then he handed it back to me. I looked at the photo and it was amazing. I opened up Instagram and posted it.

We kept walking and decided to go to the Marvel part of the park. We got on a ride. It was one of the screen ones so it was meant to be entertaining and not piss your pants scary. Anyways we sat down on the seat thing. It was weird, it wasn't separate seats but one joined seat with a lap bar. At first, it wasn't bad but then something popped up and I reached over and grabbed Finns hand. He squeezed my hand tight to let me know that I was okay. I blushed and he didn't let go until the ride was over.  When we got off of the ride we decided to get some churros. Just as I started to pick up my churro to eat it someone pushed my arm and I dropped it. Finn laughed hysterically and then offered me his. When I tried to turn it down he insisted so I took it and split it in half and handed one half to him. He smirked at me and took a bite. Then he grabbed my hand and we continued to walk around the park.

TIME SKIP TO SIX O'CLOCK

Finn's POV
We went back to the gate to meet with Jim for dinner because it was a Friday night we were going out to a fancy restaurant. We got back to the hotel and got changed. I put on a plaid shirt and threw on clean pants. I didn't want to draw attention to myself. I walked out of my room and to the elevators. No one else was downstairs so I waited with Jim. Then Y/N stepped out of the elevators and I was stunned.

She walked over to me and I realized that my jaw had dropped. I closed my mouth and tried to find the right words to say. "y-You l-look a-amazing" She turned bright red, smirked and looked away. I definitely like her.

Your POV

He looked so cute tonight. When everyone else came downstairs we went out to the restaurant on the water taxi. We got a choice on who we wanted to sit with tonight because it was a semi-fancy dinner. Finn and I obviously chose to sit together. I was so glad when he asked whether I wanted to sit with him. If he hadn't, I would be stuck with Madison asking questions on when Finn and I would date and stuff like that. I doubt Finn has ever even considered dating me, the downside of that is that dating him is all I can think about. As we ate I couldn't help but bask in his handsomeness. His cheekbone so sharp it could cut someone, the freckles that dust his nose and his curly hair that just falls wherever it wants. After tonight I have decided that I would try not to do this again, it made it so hard to look at him as a friend. I didn't want to get my hopes up because I would definitely be crushed in the end. When we were talking we mentioned his band and his face lit up. It was so cute, he started to tell me about one of his gigs when my phone started to ring. I looked and it was from my parents. "Go ahead, I'll be fine." He said smiling. I stood up and walked where no one could hear me.

Y-You P-Parents
Y- Hey!
P-Hi honey, how has the trip been going?
Y-Amazing! How has it been at home?
P-It has been fine, we miss you though.
Y-I miss you too! Anyways I'm at dinner so I need to go but we can call tomorrow if you want.
P-Don't worry about us, call us if you need us. Have fun!
Y- Thanks! Bye, I love you.
P-Love ya!

Conversation over

I walked back to the table to see Finn talking to the waitress, but it wasn't our waitress. She was smiling, giggling and flirting and I could tell that Finn didn't mind it. I walked over feeling sorry for myself and sat down. That didn't stop him from flirting though, I thought maybe he had feelings for me.  I guess not. Before she left they took a picture and when they posed she turned her head and kissed him on the cheek. He looked shocked but not angry, eugh. How could I be stupid enough to think he might like me?

Finn's POV

When Y/N left the table to answer the phone a worker came over to the table saying that she was a fan, naturally, I had to be nice so that my fans don't think I'm mean but she was super flirty. I didn't like it, I hate it when my fans flirt because I can't stop them so I need to be nice. When Y/N came out she saw me with the girl and she seemed... upset? I hoped it didn't bother her, it happens a lot, fans think that just because they've seen my characters they've met me,it  gets annoying. She was one of the very few people who didn't make me feel like Mike or Richie. She talked to me as if she were talking to Finn, a normal person. She came over an sat down so I tried to get the girl to go away, she wanted a selfie with me so of course, I needed to oblige but when she was about to take it she turned her head and kissed my cheek. EUGH! I don't like this girl. I shooed her away and tried to talk to Y/N. She didn't look like she really wanted to talk. "Whats wrong?" I asked her in attempts to find out why she wasn't speaking much.

                                Y-You F-Finn

Y- "You honestly can't guess??"
F- "No..."
Y- "whatever, it doesn't matter anyway,"
F- "Yes, it does"
Y- "i-It's just that... er...you were flirting with that girl"
F- " okay 1 I was not flirting, I thought she was annoying and 2 why does that matter exactly!?"
Y- "goddammit Finn, it's because...I like you,"

Then she stood up and ran to the bathroom. damn.
