Life or "Death"

First Day

I woke up to my alarm the next morning. I got out of my bed and took a shower. I wore a white dress with a jean jacket and boots and a belt. I flat ironed my brown hair and went to go find breakfast. Bella came down five minutes later and asked "Hey where's Charlie?" I wish she would just say dad....
"Dad just went to work." I said making sure I said DAD. "I'm going to go ahead and go to school see you later" I said wanting to get to school and have enough time to find my class. "Ok see you later." She said.
I grabbed my bag and walked to my beautiful blue truck and left for school. About fifteen minutes later I arrived at forks highschool. I park and get out of my truck and immediately notice the wispers and stares. People were terrible at whispering here because I heard a lot of "I thought there were two girls" and "I love her truck."
I just walked up to the front office and asked "Excuse me ma'am. I'm Kayleigh Swan and I was wondering if I could have my schedule?" The lady at the desk smiled and said "sure" and gave me a pink slip all my teachers had to sign and my schedule. I left the office while looking at my schedule.

As I was looking at my schedule I seemed to bump into a wall. When I looked up I saw the most beautiful man I've ever seen. He had blonde hair, golden eyes, and pale skin.
"Sorry I wasn't looking where I was going" I said in my western drawl I hated so much. I looked up into his eyes and it was like everything around me froze. "It's quite alright ma'am." He said with more of a southern drawl than me. I smiled and walked away not really knowing what to do. I felt his eyes staring at me. I found 1st period with ease. Mr.wright asked me to sit next to a girl named Alice. She was so happy. It's like she liked school. 1st-3rd period went by slowly then 4th period rolled around and I was told to sit by the blonde I ran into earlier. History was my favorite class. I learned the blonde guys name was Jasper Hale Cullen. He also loved history.
I had lunch next but I had only met Jasper so I went and sat at an empty table. I looked around and saw Jasper at a table with people who were almost as beautiful as him.
Someone tapped me on the shoulder so I turned around and saw a blonde girl. "Hi, I'm Rosalie. Can I sit with you?" She asked. "Sure" I said. "I'm Kayleigh Swan" I say shyly.
"Why aren't you eating?" she asks me. "I'm not really hungry" I said though it came out more as a question. She gave me a worried look but let it slide. "What about you. Why aren't you eating?" I ask her. "The food here taste terrible. I don't eat at school." she says. "Can I call you lee? Rosalie sounds too formal and Rose sounds so common." I ask. She smiles and says "That sounds wonderful." I see Bella at a table and she looks to me and waves at me. I smile and wave back. Lee looks over to who I'm waving at and frowns. "Is that your sister?" she asks. I nod and say "Isn't it obvious?" She nods and says "Yeah I guess. The only difference is your eyes. You have blue and she has brown." she says. Suddenly the bell rings and we go to our classes. The rest of the day goes by quickly and I head home. When I get home dad isn't there so I go up to my room and start my homework. When I get done with the homework I had I went to Bella and explained the day I had. She told me about a guy named Edward. How he ignored her and looked as if he hated her before talking to her.  She said she was going to confront him next time she saw him. I went to get ready for bed seeing as we had school tomorrow as well.
