Slowly I opened my eyes. I was in a room that was very bright and maybe a little too bright for my taste. I was laying down, in a bed somewhere, but I didn't know where. I tried to get up, but my left leg wouldn't move. I sat up, and soon found out that I had a broken leg.
Speaking of broken legs... WHERE IS SKYLAR? A doctor walked in.
"She'll be alright." she said to me. " I saw you trying to save her. Very heroic of you, Hunter." I didn't know how to respond to that.
"But I want to see her." I said to the doc.
"Okay. Doctors! Bring on the wheelchair!"
