Chapter 10

Hunter's POV

Later that day, I was invited to the hospital to see Skylar's progress. Its been 6 weeks since she got out of her coma. The doctors obviously wanted to see her progress. And they also told me that they would tell me today if she was going to remember anything from her life besides her parents.

Before going to the hospital, I decided to get her flowers and chocolates. Even if she doesn't remember me, I want her to know that I am a sweet guy.

 I waited in the lobby with Andrea, who apparently got invited too. I could she was as nervous as I was, and she brought her a get well soon balloon. After about 45 minutes, they allowed us to go inside the room with Skylar.

"She will not remember anything that happened in the past year." the doctor said as we walked in. I walked up to Skylar. I decided to be poetic and say an inspirational quote. First, i gave her the chocolates.

"Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you are going to get." Quote from the movie Forrest Gump. Very poetic. Finally, I gave her the bouquet of roses. "These are for you. I know you won't remember me, but I want you to know that you are a beautiful girl, and before all of this happened, I asked you to be my girlfriend. So I hope that you'll get better, and that uh..." I was going to say it. " I love you."

Skylar's POV

"These are for you. I know you won't remember me, but I want you to know that you are a beautiful girl, and before all of this happened, I asked you to be my girlfriend. So I hope that you'll get better, and that uh... I love you." All of a sudden, I remembered everything. Hunter Jones, the most popular kid in school. Hunter Jones, the guy I liked since the day I met him. Hunter Jones, the guy  who got cheated on by Jane. Hunter Jones, the guy who tried to save my life. And succeeded. I blinked fast. Everything swarmed back to me. I remembered me moving to Cali. Andrea. Nicolette. Peter. Lucas. My friends. I couldn't believe it. Hunter was walking out the door when...

"Hunter!" I screamed. I jumped up on to him and gave him a hug. "And to answer your question, yes I will be your girlfriend. And I love you too."

Hunter's POV

I started to walk out when I heard Skylar call my name.

"Hunter!" She jumped on me and gave me a hug. DId she remember me? "And to answer your question, yes I will be your girlfriend. And I love you too" She said. I picked her up and kissed her. She remembered me. She likes me back. I got my Skylar back.
