I wake up to the sound of my alarm going off, I groan rolling over, away from the loud beeping noise from my phone. I have class early today and then I have to go straight to work after. Frustrated I reach for my phone on my bedside table, eyes still closed, as I try and feel around for my phone. I groan again louder this time because I can't seem to find it, finally opening my eyes sitting up I grab my phone turning the alarm off. I lay back down taking a deep breath then sitting back up and getting out of bed. I put my hair in a high ponytail and pull my baby hairs down to frame my face. I don't bother putting on makeup, I decide to wear to wear glasses instead to hopefully hide the fact that I'm not wearing makeup. I brush my teeth then walk into my closet figuring out what I want to wear. I pull out the cutest, comfiest outfit I could find.I grab my school bag, tie my shoes then leave for class. My class today is just an elective course, I took for credits so, it's only three hours long and it's Philosophy which is at least kind of interesting to me. I stop at Starbucks to get a coffee and some food. On my walk to class I eat and sip my drink. Once I get to the school, I walk straight to my class and take out my notebook and textbook. I'm not really into the whole extra-curricular thing so, I don't have many friends here but all the friends that I need are Sasha, Mack, Amy and a few others that I still talk to from high school. During the lecture I try my best not to zone out and write down everything that the teacher is saying.
After three whole hours the professor dismisses us. I get up and shove my things in my bag and speed walk out of the classroom in a rush not wanting to be late for work. I buy a protein bar at the cafeteria in the main part of campus, eating it on my way to the bus stop. I work at a little clothing boutique, it's in downtown of the city which is a little far for me to walk. I wait at the bus stop for about ten minutes until my bus arrives. I hop on the bus scanning my transit-card and then walking towards the end of the bus to find a seat. As soon as I see a seat open I sit down putting my bag on the chair next to me. After four stops I get off the bus walking another block to the store. I walk into the store saying hello to my boss and putting my bag in the small closet at the back of the store. I stand behind the cash register waiting for a customer. My boss is the owner and only one person works here at a time. Usually on the weekends it gets busier but thank god I rarely work weekends. I lean on the counter, bored as hell trying to keep my eyes open. I watch the clock tick, the hands of the clock slightly moving every minute. two people came in out of my 8 hour shift.
"I'm going to close up early you can go now" My boss calls from her back office.
"Okay, see you next week!" I say raising my voice a bit so she could hear me from her office.
I grab my bag from the back closet and walk out the boutique heading towards the bus stop. I start to feel my phone vibrate in my pocket. I take my phone out of my pocket and look at the screen to read the name, it's Austin! I answer it as soon as I see his name.
"Hi" I say trying to be casual not excited that he called me or anything.
"Hey uhhh how are you?" Austin ponders.
